Anyone know what scratch and dent means via condition?

There are several posts on Reddit claiming the Scratch and Dent condition is, in fact, perfect.

I’m too considering getting S&D since they’re the only ones available. Nevertheless, I still think it’s a gamble and our luck may vary.

We got a “refurbished” unit that has a SMALL knick in the screen. It isn’t really THAT noticeable but :man_shrugging:

I own this, it is a very good e-reader. But, the trade in value for this is $5 from amazon. No idea since this is a premium reader. So for that reason I feel this is WAY overpriced. But I’ve now had it for 5 years and works like a champ.

Hi there. Click here for our guide to the various conditions and their definitions.

The good news is that my scratch-and-dent Kindle appeared to be neither scratched nor dented, at least not in any way visible to my eye.

The bad news is that the Kindle is incredibly laggy and doesn’t seem to respond well to touch at all. I thought I was maybe expecting too much but I compared it against my basic Kindle, which was ostensibly not as good as the Oasis, and there’s a huge difference.

Anyone else finding these issues or able to tell me what to do better so I don’t have to go through the hassle of a return attempt?
