FYI, if anyone isn’t aware, the “Interface Transfer Rate” on the specs page is somewhat meaningless. Realistically these will get about 1 Gb/s on a USB 3 connection because that’s how fast mechanical hard drives function. With USB 3 it should be about as fast as it would be if it were hooked up inside the PC (~1 Gb/s, or ~120 MB/s). On USB 2 you’ll be limited by the speed of the connection so it will be slower.
Other than that it would be nice to know what make/model of hard drive these are using on the inside.
For those of you that are not Seagate fans…saw this on Woot for $129.99+$5shipping+$7.80 Ky state tax=$142.79 but looking around for reviews I found it at B&H for $149.99 with free shipping and no tax…for a BRAND NEW ONE and a Limited 2-Year Manufacturer Warranty vs 90 Day Woot Limited Warranty refurbished …guess which company to order it from is a NO BRAINER !
