Laptops, Desktops & Tablets Again

The Dell Latitude laptop product summary says “Win8”. Both the Features and Specs list Win7 professional. Any guess as to which is correct?
Thanks.

Very Interesting. I’ll ask for clarification and update this post when I have an answer.

UPDATE: Windows 7

is it possible to get the full model # of the W-510?

Sorry, not super sure which one you’re talking about? Most seem to have model numbers under the specs tab, lemme know if the one you’re looking at doesn’t and I can check up on it.

Can someone tell me if the following computer has an “HDMI” port?
Lenovo ThinkCentre A70Z All-in-One Desktop PC, 19" WXGA+, Intel Pentium E5500, 4GB DDR3, 320GB HDD, Win 7 Pro.

I would like to purchase this but really need this port…

I had bought a tf700 as a Christmas gift and the screen came in DOA and apparently the 90 day warranty woot mentioned wasn’t true so buyer beware. So far $300 down the drain

Definitely not a lie, you do have a warranty with Asus. If you’re having issues with them, please feel free to email us at support@woot.com.

They said the warranty was invalid at first because it expired before I bought it and then they told me it was expired because it was rooted. I needed an invoice with the serial number on it. And I did email support, and it’s been 4 days. I shouldn’t be littering up discussion though so I’ll just wait a little longer for a reply.

I also made an unfortunate Christmas 2013 purchase and went with the refurbished HP Envy 15. The laptop came out of the box with cracking around the anterior screen frame near the hinges and a dead pixel. After 5 emails to woot support (there is no contact phone #) and sending pictures they claimed there was nothing they could do. HP’s only available option was to send in for $178 for repairs. I have been a long time Wooter spending thousands on this site but I will be staying away from ALL refurbished laptops in the future.

Wow, tonight of all nights I feel like impulse shopping. I find a decent camera and decide to buy a new laptop. Then I read this… I will say I am currently typing this on an ASUS computer bought from here, refurbished, that has been great until the warranty expired. So far I like the specs, but…

Thanks for the heads up. I was going to buy one for my mother but this sounds like more trouble then it’s worth.

I would like very much to purchase this, but can’t get a response from Woot as to whether or not I already have.

On December 12th, I purchased one of these very computers. I got a receipt. My credit card was charged. The status even said “Shipping.”

The shipping terms were 5 - 8 business days so I thought I’d be safe buying this as a Christmas gift – especially since I wasn’t to celebrate Christmas until the 27th.

12 business days have passed and I still have not received the laptop. I submitted two support requests. Neither one has been answered. I submitted something yesterday on a forum and received a response, in the forum, not my e-mail, stating that they were out of stock and that my purchase had been refunded. Well… My purchase has not been refunded because the charge is still on my card. They’re also obviously not out of stock because they are offering them for sale right now.

If there’s anyone that can give me a clue as to where this purchase – or non-purchase – stands, I will greatly appreciate it.

Right now, my son doesn’t have his main Christmas gift and I can’t proceed with getting him one because Woot won’t give me a status on this matter.

I have purchased items from Woot before, but am wondering if it’s safe to do so in the future. I feel like Woot has my $535.00 and isn’t even minimally concerned about getting it , or a computer, to me.

Hey there, I’m really sorry about that- we’re still looking into getting the right tracking information from the vendor on your order. I hope we have good news for you soon.

OK… So where does this stand? I was told that you were out of them and that a refund had been issued. Now You’re saying that you’re looking for the tracking information? Please tell me which one it is.

We’re waiting to hear back from CS. We’ll update you ASAP.

Does the Asus Q550 come with the subwoofer as in the new retail packaging?

How will I hear back from you? I’ve submitted a couple of support e-mails, but haven’t heard anything back from them and it’s been a few days. Will I receive a phone call or an e-mail?

Long-time (very) Wooter here and lately all I seem to be reading in the comments section is problems with Woot orders or “refurbs” that quite obviously were not.

My experience with Woot over the years has always been positive, BUT I’ve now read so many problem comments, that I think I’m done with Woot for refurbs and maybe new items too. Prices have become nothing special and the apparent difficulty of getting problems resolved is one headache I don’t need.

Hey Woot Mods, better give the higher-ups a heads-up! After building fanatical buyer loyalty, you’re now driving those same loyal customers away because you’ve apparently lost sight of the fact that Customer Service is Job # 1.

Hi there. Sorry for the problems. I did answer you in the other thread where you posted.
