So I ordered this and I got it yesterday I opened it and it was already on a search page connected to my internet or guest but that’s not the issue it’s dirty like somebody had gross hands and it was all on the outside of the laptop. So who was handling it and why was it on is this the way they are usually sent out?
Does anyone know what Grade Refurbished this model is? Is it Excellent, Good or Acceptable?
It doesn’t specify in the description.
I ordered it as well and it should be Delivered today so I’ll let you know what condition mine comes in.
I think I fit doesn’t say a condition it is just a refurbished the condition looks good as far as I can tell but just just because it came in just one box it wasn’t boxed and then reboxed I guess you know how Amazon does it. So who was touching it with dirty hands
Hi there. Click here for our guide to the various conditions and their definitions.
This is Refurbished (also known as Grade B)
For anyone who has one in-hand, Does this have Google Play store support for Android apps installation in addition to the Chrome web store?
Thinking about snagging 2 of these for the kids to replace their 2nd gen Nexus 7’s (yes, from 2013…kept alive with boxes of spare parts).
If not, here’s info:
Mine arrived with broken display and touchscreen, and a little bit dirty.
The USB-C port does work with a universal dock (Dell WD19), if anybody was wondering. I had it hooked up to my laptop set up, and was able to use my monitor and other peripherals. I couldn’t find any mention of that feature, and was hoping that feature was available.
Google Play store is available to use without any special steps. The chrome web store was available as well.
Yeah, according to Woots own grading scale this should not be sold as “refurbished “ otherwise known as grade b. This definitely falls into grade c or even scratch and dent.

Yeah… I ain’t got no desire to use anything g@@gle, and I like my data staying on my own physical media, but damn… for $40 surely there must be something I can repurpose an 11.6" touchscreen to do.
Snagged one of these during WootOff, was delivered promptly, safe in bubble wrap. Upon first inspection, it looks to be a bit weathered, and beat up, like the Chromebook my grandson got to use for school, which this could perhaps be like? Battery was dead, but plugging it brought it to life and after a full charge has amazing battery life. It was dirty, and ugly with deep scratches all over it ( disgruntled student user?), but for 40 bucks it works well enough and has a nice display. Fold the screen back and it converts from a laptop into an android tablet with play store apps, which was another surprise. Yeah it was dirty, looks beat up, condition should be stated as “acceptable”, for the price, I think it’s worth it!
Came in bubble wrapped with a Lenovo charger by ups.
Mine came kind of OK. No deep scratches. Keyboard, mouse, screen touch, camera, etc works.
Left speaker is dead. Wired headphones work.
Only usage will be occasional browsing using chrome.
Not bat for forty bucks.
I ordered one. It arrived pretty quick but upon opening the computer i see that it has arrived with a cracked screen so i contacted CS.the responded rather quick asking me to send pictures of the damage.i plugged the computer into the provided charger so maybe CS could see the damage better with a lit screen but the computer won’t even turn on.
I sent pictures to CS anyway, like they asked. Now it’s day 3 with no further response. UUGGHHH!!!
I specifically checked the specs when ordering and it said this had an HDMI port on it. The specs have since been updated to remove that and of course it doesn’t actually have one.

Well, the replacement came. Everything looked fine til I tried to use the touchpad. No response at all, no mouse movement or clicks. Plugging in an external mouse works just fine. Y’know I’m starting to think none of these Chromebooks are actually refurbished, what with all the defects these things are shipping with.
@ThunderThighs Unfortunately, customer service is just following a script and can’t seem to understand that either they posted the specs incorrectly or they didn’t ship what what advertised.
