Hey, it looks like Meh no longer exists, and woot shirts have been steadily getting worse for me every year… the first batch of shirts I bought are in better shape than their replacements, and fit better too
Anyone know of a provider with higher quality shirts? I bought a shirt from Team Liquid (the esports org) recently, and it was the best quality shirt I’ve ever worn in my life. Unfortunately their shirts are like $50 and take 4+ weeks to arrive, haha.
I wish I could buy 2008-quality Woot Shirts again… even at the current huge prices it’d be OK
I contacted CS about a month ago regarding the print quality of some shirts I purchased and never heard back. Oh well, I guess I’m done buying shirts from Woot. I would usually buy a few when there was a good deal going on but I’m not taking the chance now.
Another suggestion – make sure you’re checking the email associated with your Woot account and not your Amazon account, if different. It happens more than you might think.
(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)
The last couple shirts I bought in the past two months seem to be ok. I had one fade right away so I got that replaced. I think you’ll notice any issues after the first 3-5 washes. But you’ll want to check them out and start washing them right away.

Did shirt sizing change? I was freshening up my Knights of the Periodic Table, but noticed the new one has different color shades, sizing of the graphic, and shirt size.
They are still this bad. I actually have a stack of woot shirts I’m sending to goodwill because the designs are peeling so bad. I wish I could just remove the designs and keep the shirt but that’s more work than buying a blank shirt. I’d also love to get buy the art for a person print using my own methods which will actually last.
I have woot shirts from 10-15 years ago that still look good. Then I have woot shirts from a year ago that looks like garbage. Pretty much every shirt I have bought in the last few years has gone to crap in short time. Peeling, flaking, cracking printing. Also, about 80% of them are printed off center. Trash. No more woot shirts for me until this is addressed.
Yeah, I think Im done with woot shirts. I used to love getting them on the 5 for 30 deals but they just don’t last. I have a tatooine national park that I bought last August and have probably worn a grand total of 10 times or fewer. Graphics are almost completely gone. A t shirt should last longer than a year.
Whoever woot is using to print stinks. They need to find a better printer.
After a long hiatus, i saw some cool stuff, so I bought 5 shirts in august of last year, and they looked like absolute trash whithin months.
Heres just two examples I pulled out of the wash.
Adding my frustration to this thread. I have 10+ y old woot shirts that look great, but everything, and I mean everything in the past year or 2 is shit, and faded/peeled. I have other brand shirts and my recent purchases are poor quality, every wash seems to peel or destroy the shirts.
I’m frustrated because I really enjoyed the references and fun woot themed shirts, and now I can’t stand to see the shirts months later turn to crap.
Has anyone mentioned that besides the quality being suck, the printing is almost always off-center? I have about 6 recent shirts that the fronts are all off-center.
So, has any of this been addressed or do they still suck?
3 years later and this is still an issue. I bought a Goonies bike club shirt a year ago. After about 7-8 wears and a few washes, the image/text is about 30% gone. I only wash on warm normal cycle so I know I am not washing them improperly. I have a first run The Binge shirt that has lasted several years and is only just starting to flake which is normal. I will never buy another Woot shirt until it is confirmed they have resolved the short wear life issue.
TT, printed shirts should last more than a few washes. This is a serious quality control issue. This is not the level of quality Woot shirts used to be known for. Most people don’t wear a shirt often enough in a few months to know if they have a dud. A year later, minor to major defects will appear.
