Amazing TV, and great price… Yes, image-retention (burn-in) is a potential issue in some cases although highly unlikely. No, it’s not the best screen for the brightest of sunlit rooms, but that’s not where HDR on a glossy screen will really be super important anyway. I have several of the older siblings from LG’s offerings, and have yet to have any significant issues at all with the panels.
My biggest concern would be about the TV arriving INTACT… Is this still going to be handled by CEVA Logistics? I don’t feel like sharing pictures of, or links to my own, or others’ horror stories, but my last attempt to buy a TV like this from Woot led to quite a fiasco, with absolutely no communication from the shipping service.

I just got burned myself by this deal due to shipping issues. I bought this model from Woot a few weeks ago. I just moved into a new house so it took awhile for me to unbox and get it set up, but luckily I did before a month was up as once I got it set up I found that the bottom right corner was bent and cracked. I hoped it would just be surface damage, but nope, once turned on it just flickered and shut off immediately. This is a great price for a new model, but I can’t risk going through that again so I’ll either spend a little more and pick one up myself or have one locally delivered. Luckily I got refunded on the last one but it’s such a pain to go through the return process.
