Excellent reviews at Walmart
Best price I can find for this is about $200 and I’m not sure that it includes the accessories. This ladder is rated for 250 pounds. Costco.com has a 17ft M17 Type 1A (300 pound capacity) ladder for $190 but it doesn’t come with any accessories either.
This ladder for $170 plus work platform and wheels looks like a good deal.
I highly recommend. Best ladder around. I bought one of these for our Church and it is fantastic!
We just love it, very versatile, but is is quite heavy.
15’ foot ladder has limited uses …

This ladder is rated for 250 lbs per side . I have 6 Little Giant ladders (2 bought here) and they are the best . The knock-off versions are riveted , Little Giants are welded .
I drive a half ton Z71, it also has limited uses, however I won’t be trading it in for a 18 wheeler anytime soon!
Little Giant = Excellent ladders, a bit heavy, but that is the reason they are so stable…quality construction.

Your response made me lol.
I used to use one of these at work (installing AV equipment at a university), and it was really the best experience I’ve had with ladders. Compact enough to easily get through doors or walkways, which also helps with the weight since it’s not distributed over an awkward length.
Been looking for a good deal on a ladder for my ranch house to use both inside and out, definitely going for this one.
Edit: I drive a compact car, and while I do plan on getting a larger vehicle in the future, I’m happy this would be easy to transport in the meantime.
I have one of these from Costco. This is an excellent deal for a very versatile ladder. After I got this, I got rid of my other ladders - except small step. Two criticisms. One is that it’s pretty heavy when you’re using it as a short ladder since it’s basically two ladders. Second is that the ends have lousy scuff protection, you’ll need to protect your paint.
I own the larger 1 & I wish I bought this size instead. The larger 1 is just too freaking heavy for 1 person to handle safely
Well even the smaller one is HEAVY!! I have one, with the platform.
They are more useful than a step ladder however I often reach for the step ladder just because it is lighter. They are less likely to tip over if you are standing on the top of them (which, of course, no ladder company recommends… LOL).
The platforms are fantastic. I have two platforms and I use one to put stuff on and one to stand on. The platforms cost, I think, around $70. Much more comfortable to stand on a platform (they are designed to do that - one of the photos on the box shows people standing on the platform)
They are easy to adjust/change the configuration (being heavy is more an issue carrying it than changing it around)…
I have one of the smaller ones and love it. I am sure a wood one is lighter but this is perfect. Feels very stable, Love the many positions even on stairs.
I bought one of these last year from Woot and yea, it’s a heavy ladder, but the thing is the most stable ladder I have ever been on! I weigh about 240 and have no issues with this what so ever… Highly recommended!
Bought my Little Giant ladder in 1984 and it is still going strong. Heavy? Sure, but secure. I bought a work platform for it about 5 years ago and that was a great investment. Not just a paint can shelf but a heavy duty platform you can stand on. Sometimes I wish it had the wheel kit to help haul it around but overall I can’t over sell just how indestructible these ladders are.
I am confused. The specs say this weighs 30 pounds and I confirmed that Amazon says the shipping weight is 37.2 pounds which with packing material seems equivalent. However, several complain about how heavy this ladder is. So which is it, 30 pounds or extremely heavy for a 17 foot ladder? I am serious since I have been using a 24 foot aluminum simple fly ladder which is heavier to lift than a 60 pound sack of cement mix (how can you weigh an old ladder? :-).
I bought this the last time it was offered, and I also got the utility platform for paint cans, hammers, etc. I have loved it. The platform you can stand on is fantastic. Especially when you are working on something for quite a while up at a height. I put up a ceiling fan the other day, and with both platforms, it was so much easier. I’m happy to deal with the weight: it’s worth it to know it is secure. I’ve used these at work for 20 years, and was so happy to finally see one I could afford for myself.
