Logitech Cordless Desktop Keyboard and Laser Mouse

I have this keyboard and mouse. I really like it and it is seem to be very sturdy. I would highly recommend it.

Product website, I believe:

How bad do these things suck through batteries?

I generally like Logitech’s keyboard/mouse combos, but the placement of the shortcut keys on this one cause me some concern. It seems like they are in perfect position to be accidentally bumped by your palms as you type.

I have one of these sets and it works great. It sits on a solid plastic table (which most RF keyboards cant get through) with the computer underneath. The only problem I have had is battery life, but if you invest in some good rechargeable batteries and a good charger this thing works wonders.

I have the v220 mouse, which is of a very similar design to this one. It is an extremely comfortable design and has a nice fit for my slightly-above-average hands. My gf, with small hands, also likes it a lot. Generally, I think Logitech makes some of the most comfortable mice.

Can the palmrest be detached for a smaller footprint?

So just to clarify…is there any reason one can’t plug the dongle into the PS3 and use it that way? Is it a drivers problem?

My local Meijer store had these on clearance this summer for 14.99. Got one just cause of the good price but haven’t hooked it up yet. Thinking of getting my mom a wireless keyboard/mouse for christmas. Is this unit really good?

I have had mine for about 2 months and have not changed the batteries yet.

No, it is all built into 1 solid piece on the back side.

Where there are shortcut keys there are driver problems. You need a basic wireless keyboard, one without shortcuts.

Here’s the manual.
