People still buy anti virus software?
People still buy McAfee? We’ve had a really good experience with malwarebytes at work and I ended up purchasing a license for home. We never had quarterly calls with any of the past antivirus vendors and malwarebytes has been very responsive to our needs.
I’m puzzled, “Total Protection 2022”? Do they know it’s 2023. Just what I need, protection for something that obsolete.
Yes, people definitely do still use anti-virus software to protect our devices. I bought McAfee 2 months ago (on sale!) at more than twice the amount charged here, and I’m quite satisfied with it. McAfee is a protection of choice for many so, at this price, it’s an excellent buy.
TOTALLY not clear just what this is. Two packs of five licenses, or two sets of TEN licenses?
Just had to keep reading: “Coverage for 20 devices across 2 device cards.”
I agree! Malwarebytes is the best.
Malwarebytes (which I also use) is not antivirus software. I use both. I bought the Malware Professional or premium right before they ended the lifetime license keys. Its a great product.
John McAfee what a character.
I wouldn’t take this if they were giving it away for free. Installing this on your PC will be the death of it. It literally takes 10 minutes to uninstall this software
Back in the day, I managed a 3rd-party helpdesk for NAV. Ironically, our corp security standard was McAfee. Lesson learned:
DO NOT install NAV on top of McAfee.
RIP, John.
Yeah I am confused as well. If I want to use one key code then I can have two years of protection? Thats all I need. Its doesnt matter what year it says people.
The last bullet point in the description says it will work through 2023.
Please tell us what it’s like having ADD and not being able to wait 10 minutes?
A few years ago, I bought 5 from Office Depot really cheap. I got a total of 5 years of McAfee. Don’t take it from me, but it’s a good guess that this would be 2 years of coverage. Woot, what say you?
(I’ve been fine with Defender so I’m sticking with that.)
It’s not about having ADD, it’s about the fact that this program grabs ahold of your PC so bad it takes forever to cleanse out the demons.
Antivirus is kind of an outdated term. Malwarebytes projects from Trojans, viruses, malware, and all that other stuff. It’s moved from anti malware to include antivirus as many of the antivirus program have moved to include anti-malware.
McAfee is a high CPU and resources hog. E-SET a much better product.
I totally came here just to say exactly this…
“Ten minutes” is only “forever” to someone with ADD!
