This seems like a great deal. The Forge 6.0 is 199 at Home depot. Any similar battery is about 250. The Forge is the top of the line battery. More power than Milwaukee high output batteries. Ive heard about fakes on Amazon which makes me nervous to pull the trigger.
I think the new 12ah tabless is too new to have a good fake already
I would agree with this. I haven’t seen any fakes on the FORGE type batteries yet. I’m in for a couple of these, so we’ll see.
I ordered two of them. I can test their capacity when I get them tomorrow. But I swore it was sold by Amazon as a seller. Anyway each battery coming from separate residential houses in Brooklyn. Looks like they are split up in units l apartments. House built in 1925. Run down. So I’m pretty sure I just got scammed. Woot has a return policy I assume.
Here’s Woot’s return policy:

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.
Got mine today in the mail and looks super legit.
Have you been able to use them, or compare against a known good battery?
Batteries seem to be the real deal. I got the same results as this video. Will be doing more testing at work tonight.
Can you review on Woot?
That’s what the forums are for.
The batteries are legit. Took one apart, and it has the laser welded strips and tab less cells.
So if someone wants to review would be here in these comment sections?
Yes.
