Netgear needs to rename themselves to ransom gear. After spending 2 hours on the phone with Xfinity and being unable to get a perfectly good working modem to actually work I gave up in returned it to woot when the exact same thing happened a second time, except this time I could not log in because the password had been changed and the questions we had already been set to oldest sister’s first name I don’t have a older sister, I called Netgear.

They responded that the reason my modem does not work is because the original owner purchased a firewall and did not renew after one year and if I wanted to get my purchased modem to actually work all I’d have to do is select one of three options option one a one-year subscription option two a three-year subscription or option three a lifetime subscription when I offer them option for go f*** yourself they told me sure but you’ll never use our modem.

I’m sorry for the problem. Make sure you reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).
