Bummer on the no wide widths. New Balance are about the only running shoes I can get on my fat feet.

Are the men’s 750 or 750v1? The description says 750, but the tongue (in the pictures of the men’s model) says 750v1. I’m not sure whether there is a difference, but the description for the women’s matches the picture. Is it just a typo? Or is there really no difference?

does anyone know which color is the men’s & which color is the girls & I also noticed that the picture of the tongue of the shoe showed 750v1 why ?

The photo captions clearly state the women’s shoe is blue. As for the 750v1, I assume that’s the model. New Balance seems to like to version their models. There is also a 750v2 which is presumably more recent that what’s for sale here.

These don’t have a width selection so they will be the standard width, which is D for men and B for women. I’ve worn NB running shoes for more years than I want to say, and they have always been a great product. For me. If you’re going to actually run in these, you need to make sure that New Balance is a good shoe for legs, knees, feet, running style etc. For example, I have nothing against Nike running shoes but they just aren’t right for my knees and ankles. Something called “pronation” is very individual for each person and affects which running shoes they can use. So, I am buying because I know these are good for me.
Checking the NB web site, they are a discontinued model and they are from the low end of their model line. Not for someone who runs a lot of miles. But probably great for that 30 minutes on the treadmill at the gym.

I agree with other comments about width. You’re selling to American men and no wide widths being offered is just wrong.

I’ve been a huge fan of NB for years - have a factory outlet right up the street. Only sneaker that’s ever lasted beyond a couple years, and that can give me good stability. But, I will warn all that their sizing varies greatly. A 13 in one model may run smaller than in another. I’ve sent a few pairs back over the years when jumping on a deal. Maybe their problem is just on the larger sizes, IDK. I also know it’s not just NB - I’ve had Ecco’s sizes vary as well. My gut tells me it’s lack of overseas QC and by the time they get here, it’s too late and they end up on Woot. :slight_smile:

I once was a fan of NB until the last 2 pair, the soles separated on both shoes and I’ve re-glued them 3 times and I’m now fed up with the poor quality. They went in the garbage this past weekend,I’m looking for a higher quality brand at present.
