I just received my yesterday, far from new! The box smells like mildew and the actual case and headset smell like a heavy perfume to mask the smell.
Sent 3 emails to woot on the subject with no response. No choice but to contact the better business bureau and my credit card company.
Woot need better customer support!

I am just curious what makes these worth the extra money, when you can find JLab or Skullcandy earbuds that have the wings to make them fit and stay in your ear better and have automatic connect and have wireless charging, etc etc.
It just seems like youāre paying for the Beatās name or Apple connection more than the actual earbudās value themselves.

Can confirm these are NOT new. Just received mine and wanted to purchase apple care. Thereās ongoing applecare until March 2024. I donāt get how woot continues to advertise these as new when so many people have received used ones. This is false advertising, plain and simple.

Hi there. Iām sorry for the issue with the warranty. Weāve sold literally thousands of these with only a couple having warranty issues. Itās sounding like a few items slipped into the main inventory. As always with any issues, feel free to reach out to Woot Customer Service for assistance. Let them know if you want to return for a refund or a replacement.

Can anyone comment on how these compare to their Bose SoundSport counterpart? I love mine and have been considering a second pair so that I donāt have to disconnect/connect between my phone and work PC (first world problems, amirite?). Depending on sound quality, Iād be interested in checking these out instead.

@ThunderThighs looks like Iāve got the same issue as my pair have a warranty that expires in March of 2024. Iāve already emailed customer service and am awaiting their response.
You might also check with Apple to see if they can reset the warranty.
@ThunderThighs Iāve contacted Apple and they require a receipt from Woot showing the Beats serial number on it to adjust the warranty. Iāve got multiple messages in to Woot customer service with no reply.
We donāt record serial numbers on our invoices unfortunately. You may have to do a return. Give CS time to answer, theyāre a bit behind. Writing in more just clogs up the system.
This isnāt acceptable. I bought an item as new and expect a full warranty with it. I do not want to return the item, I simply want what was advertised. I will give customer service a bit more time.
Do not buy these. They are used. The warranty started four months before I bought them. I returned my first pair and woot sent me another pair that were the same thing. Used. Warranty already started.
The issue isnāt that they are used, it is that Woot purchased them from Apple at that time and they sat in inventory with the warranty running. We now need proof that they resold them to us so we can reset the warranty clock.
