Can they post the SKU for these this time? The last time I ordered one and it was Verizon locked and pre-loaded with a Verizon Sim card. My carried confirmed the IMEI was not something they could activate. I return it and a replacement was sent, which also was Verizon locked and the status of these should easily be confirmed by checking the SKU on the box, which will reveal they are US Verizon models and not truly unlocked units.
Sorry for the late response. From our vendor:
The sku is 100% unlocked. We have sold a lot of them thru Woot and other channels and haven’t received any complaints about it being locked. It will have the Verizon sim card (was mentioned in the original PORF), which may be confusing the customer, but definitely still unlocked.
I ordered this, and got model GB62Z which is listed on googles webpage as for Verizon only and it came preloaded with a verizion sim. Vendor is incorrect.
Did you remove the SIM and put in your own SIM?
The specs here specify dual SIM card SLOTS. Are there really two slots or is it a misspecification of one slot plus one esim?
Hi there. From our vendor:
That seems like an error reflected also on Amazon’s page. No Pixels come with physical dual sim slots. There is just 1 slot.
I bought this phone (unlocked) directly from Google Dot com’s store last September, it couldn’t be activated on AT&T because it was locked to Verizon. Took a week of waiting for customer assistance to get them to unlock it. Love the phone though!
