Yeah this would be a good deal for $500 which is what a similar Klipsch system goes for (Cinema 700 soundbar w/subwoofer + Surround 3 rear speakers).

Just cause it’s Samsung doesn’t make it worth $900. I doubt it really sounds 2x as good.

I don’t own one of these and I’m not a shill for either Woot or Samsung. And since, having LG’s top of the line soundbar, I’m not in the market.

Now having said all that, this is a great deal. Both Amazon and Best Buy, are selling this soundbar for just under 1700 dollars. You can do the math.

This is a smoking good deal. This is the best sounding soundbar on the market in my opinion.

I’ve got this one, for a few years now. Hearing made me a believer in soundbars - retiring a bulky 5.1 Polk/Denon system. This bar will integrate with your Samsung tv for even gooderest soundstaging by using the tv speakers too.

My only complaint, the sub is a bit loud unless you have a home (sound isolation stand and the PC low pass filter help keep it neighbor compliant at night).

11.1.4ch?
At what point does it loop back around to just being called “surround sound”?

I definitely wooted on this deal. Ordered and paid for it a week ago. Still says, “preparing for shipment…” Really? Why? Is the woot warehouse so big and disorganized the workers can’t find the item?

UPS tracking shows it was delivered today. I’ll find out why the order was still saying preparing.

I ordered this on October 15 and received on October 22. My order status finally updated to “shipped” on October 24. But the main problem is, my unit arrived with a damaged soundbar. The metal grille on the soundbar was bent. Initially I thought this was just a cosmetic defect, but after listening to music, I noticed that the left front speaker on the soundbar was broken (buzzing squealing noises when playing certain audio). The overall system is really outstanding, but I can’t possibly live with a broken speaker within the main soundbar unit, so now I have to deal with the hassle of a return. Samsung has some bizarre QC. I’ve never received a broken speaker or had a speaker break on me–ever. They’re not the type of things that usually break.

Hi there. The late email was due to an issue on our end with order status.

As to the broken soundbar, I’m very sorry. Please reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).

Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.

Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS.
