I got these from Woot! Some time ago and I love them. Better sound than my Philips or Harmon/Kardon’s. No touch controls, but i can take out my earbud(s) during tune in commercials and wait them out rather than having them pause/resume like touch earbuds… I had some intermittent connection issues (probably from physical abuse from both my clumsiness and my cat, which they apparently can withstand), but remedied them with a factory reset… Going for sage this time… Woot! On!

Got a pair to replace my throwaway Skullcandy Sesh. Aptx support at this price point is basically gold.

The only reason this thing doesn’t cost $200+ is because it’s not designed to be stylish and it doesn’t have ANC. Otherwise sound quality is on par with Sony XM3 (but not quite as good as XM4).

Bought a pair and right side was doa. Left side works but sound quality is just ok. Nothing spectacular imo. On par with my cheap geekee set. $20-30 value imo. I don’t know where the $100 price tag comes from

Make sure you give them a full overnight charge for the first charge. That sometimes wakes up the other bud.

Yes I put them on the charger the day I got them and didn’t use them until the next day for work. Right side is doa. I still have them on the charger together but the right side doesn’t charge.

Blast. Well, reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).

Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.

Browser: Use the Woot! Customer Service form.

Woot! App: Choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

Is anyone else having problems with the microphone NOT working at all? I have tried multiple devices (several Android phones, PC, laptop) and the microphone does not work on any of them. I’ve followed Yamaha’s full reset instructions, then re-paired with the devices. Still nothing.
The sound is pretty good on them and I wish I could get the microphone to work. Any hints from anyone would be appreciated, or I will have to return as Defective.

This headset might be Refurbished not NEW as stated and sold.

Yamaha TW-E3B headset shows up as Yamaha TW-E3B R in iOS, Yamaha app , laptop in other devices/places.

I believe the letter R, at the end, stands for Refurbished, I emailed Woot and waiting for the confirmation.

Hi there. The “R” is for Right earbud, not refurbished. They 100% new, just a funny naming thing from Yamaha. Here it is in the manual:
