Anyone happen to know what the difference between this model (CM305) and the current model sold on Ninja’s website (CM407) are?
We have very similar model, got as a wedding present 3-4 years ago. Best maker I’ve ever owned.
I usually make the yeti size, but it makes a good single mug or entire carafe. I like the choice of classic or rich flavor, thats just steep time. I wouldn’t say the small 2oz format is comparable to good espresso (cant mimic the pressure) but if you just want absurdly strong drip coffee it does that.
this is the steel carafe, which does an excellent job retaining heat. it does not have a warming element… but warmed old coffee is gross, make smaller fresher sizes if you want more,
I have a similar model - more robust, but similar. That said, this is the best coffee maker I’ve ever had, but is ever so frustrating. The misses this brand has are very basic, almost make you want to ditch it for a mr coffee…
Water dispensers are detachable! Huge bonus! What did they do wrong? Let it operate without being fully seated - enjoy a soaked kitchen with no coffee haha
Coffee filter is permanent, removable so you can swap in a tea basket, very cool… same seating issue. Boom. Soaked, no coffee.
Cold brew? Yes please! Sometimes the drawer at the bottom of the coffee filter doesn’t open and after waiting 15-20 minutes for cold brew, pot’s empty! It’s all in the coffee filter and when you open it, guess what??? COFFEE everywhere but inside your mouth haha
Anyway, if you watch out for the seriously kindergarten level issues that will make you angry because you haven’t had your coffee yet… these are great!
