I have contacted customer service 2x with no reply for a return authorization. Water pours out behind the display. I tried reseating everything to no avail. Can someone send me a return authorization and shipping label?
Hi there. Sorry for the problem with the leaking. I see that Woot CS answered you on 9/2. Could you look in your spam/junk folders for that email?
If you don’t find, contact them again with another email that they can use.
Paper filters fit and absorb some oils that (some say) are not good for you.
Yup, my fault. My account was set up with a yahoo email, normally comes to gmail. Sent back today.
I would not recommend buying this. The first month or so, I had no issues. Features are neat (yay, iced coffee!), but then came the problems.
First, intermittently and without rhyme or reason, this thing leaks water out of the tank. Rather than waking up to the fresh pot of coffee I set up the night before, I wound up with 1/3 of a pot and a giant water puddle in my kitchen. This would happen once every few weeks, so I started to just fill it in the morning. Less convenient, but not terrible.
Then, about a month later came the real issue. About 1/3 of the time, the brewed coffee doesn’t make it into the carafe. Instead it drips much of it away onto my counter top (down my cabinets to the floor and onto my rug, too). Again, it’s intermittent, so I tried different filters, wetting down the filters (both seemed to “work” but it was only a placebo) to no avail. I can’t figure out the issue, but am nearing my wits end with this thing.
After about a month of being great, 2 months of being inconvenient, and 3 months of gambling with a spilled-coffee disaster overall this was a poor buying experience.
Hi there. Sorry for the problems. I found this on the Ninja site. Not sure it it will help. In the comments a couple people used an o-ring and it stopped the leaks.
Really expected this to last for more than a year due to the price and brand.
I have the same issue others mentioned with it continuously shutting off mid cycle- even though I’ve cleaned it several times, And the water reservoir leaks when Intake it off .
Looking online at all seems to be linked to the water reservoir- which should be an issue that was fixed as opposed to suggesting to just buy a new reservoir which is what the Ninja site recommends!
Very disappointed in how this worked out.
