Hard to believe that this stuff is so difficult to produce that even when “discounted” it is over $2 an ounce.
Yeah, is #10 can some specific can type or do you actually get 10 pounds? Very confusing.
Looks to be the can type, to and you get 27.5 oz.

Froody is correct. It is a standard volume can in the food industry. Designed to hold up to 6 lbs but weight of contents varies by product. In the case of freezed dried food might less weight.
To picture it, the No. 303 can is the size of a Progresso soup container.
The #10 as you can see has much larger volume but please remember weights listed are maximum.
Actual mass depends on product, varies greatly, and varies by company’s product.
Or, you could drop $3k on your own freeze dryer and make your own. I’m sure at some point, you will recoop your money.
