Yep. Omaha has just gotten waaaay too proud of their product. I’ve got this priced out at about a $45-50 value, maybe a few shekels more for the dry ice, as compared to if I get from my local butcher, who sells prime, not “USDA inspected” which could be select, probably mostly choice, but definitely not prime. Love ya Omaha, and you have a consistently good product, but you lost my business about 4-5 years ago once you got out of line price-wise.
I will forever associate Omaha Steaks with Gary Busey.

I bought one and knew it was pricey. Its not regular steaks though. Its aged filet mignon. I hope I don’t regret it but time will tell.
I averaged it out to around 25 dollars a lb altogether. Its 2.85 lbs of meat and 1lb 12 ozs of pastry pockets and empanadas!
I went to the Omaha Steaks website and priced them individually and it came to 129 dollars. So there are some savings at this price.
Don’t forget to include shipping costs on the Omaha site.
This is an update on my purchase. After purchasing it on August 21st they send me an email I won’t receive it until September 18th. That is almost a month!
I decide to try and cancel order and contact customer service last week.
Monday they send me a notice they are working on my order cancellation! Last night I receive notice from UPS the order has now shipped! So much for the September delivery date and my order cancellation!
Then they send me an email this morning to reject the order and they’ll refund me when they receive it back!
I hope you all see the problem with that!!! They had more than enough time to cancel the order and refund me yet deliberately speed up the shipping date and send it!!
Now it put me in a position I shouldn’t have to be! Either accept the order or accept the risk they will still screw me around on the refund!!!
Woot is an Amazon owned scam company!! After today not only will Woot never see another dollar from me neither will Amazon! I am cancelling my Prime membership!! Over the last few months I’ve spent thousands on Amazon!! No more of my money will ever grace your shaddy greedy pockets again!
