so it looks like 2 people can stand on that at once?

■Body Weight: 0 to 330 lb with 0.2 lb increments

:frowning: Can I gets two and use one for each foot to double weight limit?

I found a manual
http://www.quickmedical.com/pdf/omron/hbf-500-body-composition-monitor-scale.pdf

I want to know the stats on it. Froggle and amazon reviews. goes to check

how accurate is the body fat/muscle readings on these things?

3 if you have good balance, 4 if you’re a circus act

Why does the display unit “clicks back to store” when we’re buying it on the Internet?

I have one from walmart. These things aren’t very accurate from what I’ve gathered. I’m not sure if the more expensive ones are any better though.

So this is kind of a weird question, but:

does anybody know if these kinds of scales are bad for pregnant people?

I did a body composition analysis jobbie one time at a women’s expo and they practically made me pinkie swear there was no chance I was pregnant.

Does it shoot evil fetal death rays through your body?

I haven’t even bought this scale and it’s already telling me I’m fat.

If that works, I’m in for two!

Some people had some really good things to say on Amazon, and half the price too

Closest one I could find on their website: HERE

I have a similar model to this one from Omron.

I used to love it until it started to lie to me. So I put on a few pounds, but this thing is insulting. It says I’m obese, just because I’m 5’8 and weight 200lbs doesn’t give it the right to be so blunt about it.

But seriously, we love it. I have found the weight to be very accurate, the bmi, %fat, %muscle, visceral fat all seem to be accurate.

Use this as a daily/weekly item. Don’t expect it to be 100% accurate, if that is what you are looking for, go to your doctor and have them calculate it for you. This is just one of many tools you can use to monitor your weight loss/gain at your disposal.

Nice one..I needed a good chuckle!

Honest to god, I was going to order one of these for someone who’s turning 82 later this month. Why the 80 year old cutoff? Do they think people just let themselves go at that point? Someone needs to tell Omron that 80 is the new 50. Or 67…

C’mon people, I’m concerned for the life of my unborn!!

TMI! Who needs to know all these things about themselves? Does anyone really want to know that much? Is’s more fun to pretend you are fluffy.
