Osprey Daylite Daypack

Osprey Daylite Daypack

I don’t have this back pack, but I do own an Osprey back pack. In general, very high quality. My only gripe is the mesh side pockets have started to tear and fray but this model doesn’t seem to have any so… No worries!

Take a look again, it has two mesh pockets on the sides!

Ooohh right you are! When I turn up the brightness on my phone I can see them.

Looks similar to the material on my pack. In that, case I wouldn’t recommend. Although Osprey does have a good rep for warranty claims.

I have a higher-end Osprey laptop backpack and my mesh side pockets held up fine.

The back cushioning is what gave way for me. That’s after four years of five miles a day every (work) day, often with 20+ pounds of computer+books+papers. My previous Targus backpacks didn’t last half as long. And the warranty repair on these is amazing. They completely replaced the backpack, even after what was VERY heavy usage.

I would absolutely recommend Osprey.

Does it have a space for a hydration bladder?

Osprey has a lifetime warranty. You will have to send your pack back but they will repair or replace it. It is the only pack brand I have used for 20 plus years and they have fixed a couple for me. They also repaired the things I did when I sent them in. I have yet to have a pack replaced. Go to thier site and set up the repair.

Osprey will repair any damage or defect for any reason free of charge – whether it was purchased in 1974 or yesterday. If we are unable to perform a functional repair on your pack, we will happily replace it. We proudly stand behind this guarantee, so much so that it bears the signature of company founder and head designer, Mike Pfotenhauer.
