Pavi Wines Dolcetto Vertical Case

THANK YOU for the feedback!

Careful, he could start refusing delivery…

Luckily I really do not need anymore red wine (whites are a different story). Unluckily for me, this is way too good of a deal to pass up, especially for this style of wine, had to hit the Buy button. Looks like I need to drink more…

Picked my case up at FedEx yesterday, a note inside from Winedavid39 said the winery was low on the 2006 vintage, they only sent 1 bottle and subbed 2 bottles of 2009 which he said were drinking better than the 2006 anyway. Fine by me, this deal keeps getting better, guess I should have bought more than 1 case. Gotta love wine.woot!

Well there weren’t gonna say the 09 sucks but we sent it anyway. Even thought I ordered in the first 10 mins I received the same mix as you.

LOL, I hope it doesn’t suck! My feeling is that this sounds like a wine that’s better drunk while young (the wine, not the wino), so I don’t mind getting two newer bottles subbed in.

I did not receive any of the 2006 vintage, replaced with three of the 2009. Not a problem at all though. I opened up a bottle of the 2005 about four hours ago, will give it a taste in about an hour or two.

Two 09 and one 06 for me.

I’m primarily a beer drinker, but I decided to stock up some wine for entertaining so take my notes with a grain of barley.

My 2006 were replaced with 2009; so far I’ve tried the 2005, 2007, and 2008. The 2005 and 2007 tasted fairly similar with a very heavy berry flavor with alcohol coming though without turning me off the taste. The 2008 is much lighter and a bit buttery without any of the burn of alcohol, it is extremely drinkable and for the price in my inexperienced experience can’t be beat.
