$10/btl for wine that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to serve company. No brainer territory here!
Helllllooooo Ed!
Absolute no brainer QPR set 'em down and forget 'em for awhile grab a case or two buy!
I’m just now starting on my buys from a couple of years ago.
but not till plus rolls tomorrow.
WD, have you no conscience, after WB and before D&D, for our wallets?
…and unless they’ve changed their policy, you buy now and get club pricing for a year, double score!
If I were buying right now this would be a no-brainer. Pedroncelli is Italian for QPR!
Hmm…Pedroncelli…
My last Pedroncelli purchase was a fruitful one. Despite being on a bit of a partner imposed wine hold I’m seriously considering this one.
My only concern would be the vintage. Anyone able to offer a bit of insight on this?
I bought the 2009 version of this case a few years ago:

That one was one of the best values I have ever gotten through this site.
I just bought this 2012 case today without even thinking about it. Well, I thought for a brief moment about how many cases to order…
This is good stuff. It’s a great price for very decent wine. It’s fun to shop locally for wine, but I think this is a no-brainer. In for one!
Mother Clone Zinfandel review from Wine Buying Guide:
Oh, hell. WD has beaten me down so far I can’t even resist anymore. I extend club pricing for life!
If you haven’t been in touch with us, it’s realllly easy. Call the office, introduce your self and tell Kathy or Joanna you’d like to update your record so you can order online. Don’t be surprised if they have no idea what you are talking about. We are a family business–communication is TERRIBLE
But I’ll take care of you. Let me know you’ve called in. ed@pedroncelli.com
Pedroncelli is Italian for “what do you mean ‘if I were buying right now’” ??!!? It’s Pedroncelli for crying-out-loud! Push the button!
HA! I’ve been waiting for this. Our 2011 reds are absolutely fabulous. Across the board! We are small enough to pick our grapes when we need to, not when the winery has room, or the crew has time. We were able to get the grapes ripe and harvest before the rain damaged the crop. Buy the wine, if you don’t like it, let me know. I’ll be happy to drink them for you! ![]()
In all seriousness, I really do think these are some of the nicest wines we’ve made in a “Dry Creek” minute. (come up, sit on the bocce deck and you’ll see just how long one of those can be!)

I love repeat Wooters! Thanks for your kind words.
Thanks! Where did you learn about Pedroncelli?
Pedroncelli + All Red + QPR + Year my son was born = No Brainer!
Love it!
Wine.woot.WIN!
Have I ever admitted that I have favorites? Or that I rarely drink Cab? No? Read on…
This is a great selection. When we started making Friends.Red (a merlot based red blend) I stopped drinking Merlot. About three months ago I was out in the market with the Merlot and tasted it. WOW! I really like this wine. Great fruit, nice mid-palate, lingering finish–nice little bit of oak at the end. (secret instructions: open this wine, have a glass and leave the bottle open for an hour. Or use a venturi–a little aeration makes a big difference with all our reds.)
Sangiovese–what a great varietal. And this is no exception. A nice hit of acidity does a little dance on your tongue and gets your mouth ready for some great Italian sausage dish. And is that cherry? Red vines? What is that fruit that keeps drawing me back to the glass for another sip?? Check our recipe database for a matching recipe.
Mother Clone Zin–Our flagship. And for those of you unfamiliar with Ped Reds, this is a great example. It’s an atypical zin–no fruit bomb, 16.9% alc here folks. This u-15 Zin is what’s known as an “elegant style” zin. Lighter on the palate, this is a great food wine. We’ve added a touch of Petite Sirah, giving the wine a little more intensity in color and adds a little structure and grip in the finish. Rack of Lamb with a little garlic and rosemary anyone??
Three Vineyards Cab. Ok, here it comes…I don’t drink cab very often. Like almost never. Call me a heretic, I don’t even care! But this one is an exception. What a pretty wine. Beautiful aromas (with a hint of “Dry Creek Valley Dust”)nice fruit, a hint of mintiness if the wine is cellar temp or below (see note above about aerating) But its the finish on this wine I like. Silky, satiny, velvety deliciousness.
And as always–if you are in a neo-prohibitionist, anti-wooter state give us a call. We’ll hook you up direct. 800-836-3894, or email me ed@pedroncelli.com
Happy Wooting…and press the damn button!
Hey! Look!! I have a logo!
Yeah, you should probably buy two plus a gift or two so you have a full case of each…since it IS your son’s birth year and all. Just sayin’…
This is a no brainier, in for one. Almost went for two but the budget just won’t allow.
Ed–you are AWESOME!
My wife and I still recall the great time we had at your winery on the last woot tour.
Your wines are solid, well-made wines, that hit the QPR! Alas, I’ll have to buy locally, probably at Surdyk’s.
