Right now, I’m using a much older Philips 19" HDTV as my PC display monitor for the past year & it works great that way too, so I’m sure this 32" Philips HDTV will work great as a TV & computer display, too.

That clown picture is kinda creepy…
Considering this for an extra TV for out in the garage in front of our treadmill. Plan on watching it while walk/jogging but it won’t be our main TV we will be watching a ton. Pull the trigger on this one? The wooters shall decide!
Perfect low-res, smaller TV for your kitchen, bathroom, or toddler’s room.
For all other rooms, buy a better TV.![]()

Yes?
Wait! Do I get a vote?

For those of you who buy, here’s the most universally acclaimed wall mount for 32" flatscreens out there.

Here’s a great mount for $15:
I just sold this TV(fairly certain the same model), for $329.99 on CLEARANCE at Target like, 3 hours ago.

Monoprice is GREAT for all things accessories.
$10.40 for an ultra slim mount.
Or an almost identical (lacks level) mount for $20.64
Shipping would bring the latter to about the same price, unless you plan on buying stuff like HDMI cables, converters, etc. Then you’d be much better off ordering from monoprice.
Disclaimer - I’m not at all associated with monoprice, I’ve just been a long time fan and customer.
Edit - almost forgot. Bought this TV from woot several years ago for $300 and it works great.
SO according to this website
http://carltonbale.com/1080p-does-matter
You’d have to be sitting 4ft away to notice 1080p on a screen this size.
I say good deal. Haven’t found any cheaper 32" LCD TV’s.
I bought two of these for my Mom and Dad, last time around and they are a PERFECT standard TV replacement.
Setup was surprisingly easy and cool (compare two photos… choose the best, etc…), the remote is easy to understand, the inputs are a plenty, the picture is SHARP, contrast is what you put it at and all the presets are very nice. I added a “little” more contrast and color to them, personal taste, but all n all, definateley a bargain at this price. Both I bought were referbs and I haven’t had any issues with them.
A great price and an excellent picture. I have a $3000 Sony HX800 3D 1080p Full Array NEXT to one of these and yea, you’re not going to see THAT type of contrast with these, but it still looks excellent.
By the way, I’m the EXTREMELY picky buyer when it comes to my tech. I looked into the specs and comments on these WAY too much and didn’t need to worry a bit. I’m typing all this VERY quickly, so no tech talk about them right now. Just: great price, excellent picture, very good blacks, great remote, lots of inputs, do it. As for the “only” 720p? Please, find me a 1080p broadcast, outside of Vudu streaming, or video games, that you’ll actually view “all the time”. Not gonna happen. These are perfect with their Tivos, Roku and Xbox… ![]()
I would prefer a Samsung UN32D6000 32-Inch 120Hz LED HDTV instead.
(USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)
pull the trigger. i bought this tv from sellout and like it in the bedroom.
Was the sale on consignment?
Or did you set up a table like they do in Flea Markets?
Curious…When did TARGET allow you to start selling your own stuff?
What are they trying to compete with eBay?!?!?!
I was really interested until I saw that way too many past Wooters have been burnt by this exact model with DOA units or units needing immediate repair/replacement…

I bought this exact tv off sellout woot last month…took about 7 days to get shipping info and about 5 days after that I was setting it up in my bedroom. No problems with initial setup, very user friendly. Watching it as I type this actually. I can’t accurately compare to any other equivalent tv’s since I previously had a 19" tube tv so for me everything on this set is 10/10. I’ve used it for video games and watched tv/movies on it with no problems. I have yet to hook my laptop up to it and I’m not a huge techy but I’ve read that 720p is not very good as a monitor and if that is the application you are going to use it for I’d wait for a 1080p.
I purchased this same TV in September and it has been great. It works well and has no problems. It took a little bit to ship but other than that it’s been awesome. I recommend it.
I need a 32" to hang on the wall at my coffee shop. Costco had them for $329 yesterday, so should I get this one? I think they were 1080- but I really don’t care about gaming or watching videos at the shop.
I Wootenated one last month, and it is a great deal. Bought it for my son, and it’s perfect for his apartment. Setup was easy, picture is great.
I was interested in this woot until I looked at the image on the screen. That sealed it. No woot today for me.
