I have used a set of these for many years, these are the best adjustable dumbbells on the market and perfect that these can adjust every 5 pounds easily. I would recommend getting the lighter stand with these. BTW I think the 3rd and 4th pictures are incorrect for this product since they are every 10 pounds, I would not recommend those.
Which are these?
Photo #3 shows Powerblock Elite EXP.
Spec Tab says “Sport 50”
[MOD: photo has been removed. We’re selling the PowerBlock 50]
Yeah, I’d like to know if these are the expandable ones or not.
I checked through the listed model number and it appears these are not expandable.
These are the none expandable PowerBlock based on the spec page Increments: 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 lbs. per hand. and the model number: Style : 503-00185-01
I just want to make sure, this is a set of 2 dumbbells and not just a single one, correct?
Yes, under specs it says sold as a pair and that is how PowerBlock sells them direct too.
I own these or extremely similar, bought like 5 years ago. I bought the display model at Dick’s for about $100, but I would pay triple that and still feel like it was worth it. The only difference between the ones I own and these is that mine are gray.
Dick’s tried to sell me the stand for $100 as well, but I just stacked some cinder blocks I borrowed from a construction site and called it a stand.
Love this brand, but these don’t have the ability to expand or adjust by 2.5lb increments.
I have a question. Is that bruise on his right thigh from hitting his leg with these dumbbells? Also, can someone tell me why this guy isn’t wearing any socks?
Clarification
We are selling the PowerBlock 50. We are NOT selling the Elite version. They are non-expandable
These look incredibly bulky. I see many of you have used these - did it take a while to get used to?
Non expandable. No thanks.
I hear that construction site is waiting for them cinder blocks because they can’t complete the building.
I’ve got the set that goes to 90 lbs. It has been a pretty good set. The design makes certain grip angles difficult but, for the most part, it’s pretty handy.
I don’t have this exact set, but they’re not any much bulkier than regular dumbbells in my experience.
