ProForm 610 RT 2.5HP Treadmill

Oh, look, a $600 laundry drying rack. (once you own a treadmill, this will make SO much sense)

I know it says the weight limit is 350-lbs, but how does it do near the top end of that? My brother weighs about 340 lbs, and recently bought a treadmill that binds seriously with him on it.

Tore up my floor. When you set it to be at an incline the wheels at the rear will move and tear up your carpet/flooring after time. I recommend getting special “workout” flooring for under this unit to protect your floor.

I’m not really interested in the whole girl. Just certain parts. Just asking…

Per the website, it has an Autobreeze workout fan on the console:

Does it come with the chick on the treadmill?

Happy Valentine’s day, and welcome to my basement. :3

I clicked on this to zoom in on the girls butt. However she vanished, thus I am both sad and disgusted with myself.

We’ve had a ProForm treadmill for seven years. It’s run over 1300 miles and never missed a beat. My only complaint is that the bearing in the built in fan is noisy.

On closer inspection, the text on the exact same model says:

AutoBreeze™ Workout Fan
To help you work out longer and more comfortably, this elliptical has a workout fan built right into the console.

“this ELLIPTICAL!!!

The manual doesn’t mention a fan, so I guess the ProForm website is wrong. Go Woot!

You would have been pleased with the Gold’s Gym fitness totes that were shipping in BoCs a year or so ago.

I used to have a ProForm treadmill. It was a nice piece of equipment. However, it also was very noisy, and the motor vibrations made my feet start to go numb after around 30-40 minutes of use. I do not know if that was particularly harmful, but it was disturbing.

Since the noise was so great in the relatively small room I was in, I resigned to wearing earplugs. If you want to watch TV or listen to music, you should be prepared to turn the volume up. In the end, you might be a fairly fit but deaf person.

If you like treadmills, go for it, but be prepared. If you are not familiar with treadmills, then be aware that this will not be like a walk or jog in the park.

Leftover carpet (or even scraps) works just fine. If you have some, there is no need to lay out more cash.

Here is a review suggesting that it might be worth buying if price was under $800

Here is link to ProForm site and treadmill

BJ’s has this for $799

I have a different brand of treadmill. My husband & I make it a habit of using that little power switch down in front of the base. It only makes good economic and “green” sense not to suck up the power when not in use. Powerstrip is a good idea if that little power button is too hard to reach and certain varieties of power strips can protect your investment if there is a power surge.

Does the female come with the treadmill?

12mph = 5 minute miles = yeah, that’s pretty fast for normal humans.
It’s top-end sprint-speed for most humans, but your average runner can hit that speed pretty easily for short bursts. When doing intervals, 15mph is in my range.

On the other hand, it’s about as fast as you’d safely want to use a treadmill. Or need to, since most people use running on a treadmill as a crutch/supplement to running outdoors. And where safety is concerned, I’d guess that’s why few if any treadmills do faster than that.

When I click to zoom in, the lady doesn’t zoom with it. Kinda disappointed in that so I will not be getting one…

How good is this thing as a clothes hanger? Tie rack?
This looks like it would be pretty good hanger, I may upgrade to this by Recumbent Bike just doesn’t hold enough. But it does have a nice shelf to put the extra pillows we have on our bed.

She’s an included required accessory, because she’s REAL HIGH MAINTENANCE!
