Although I remember someone saying on Woot.com a few weeks ago that “these are not your mom’s pyrex” stating that these are much weaker than pyrex from the old days.
Something to note. Source thanks to daduckster.
These are great! But be aware that the same sizes don’t stack inside each other. So you can make one large pile like it shows in the picture, but forget putting the same-size bowls together at all. I like putting my food in glass now, with all the hype about plastics being bad for reheating, etc.

Calling 9 bowls and 9 lids an “18-Piece Set” is weak.
They could totally count the box and packaging as 2 more pieces and hit a nice, round 20-Piece Set.
My favorite feature about these containers is that you can bake in them and then pop the lid on for refrigerating leftovers.
I don’t believe the blue lids are OK in the microwave, only the red ones.

You can technically put same-size bowls together, but they won’t nest well (natch) and, worse yet, they chip if you do this too many times.
That said, the bowls are awesome. Dishwasher safe, too!
Apparently Dow-Corning downgraded Pyrex to be less hardy, because they were afraid that housewives were cooking meth in the kitchen. THIS is the result of the War On Drugs. Now Pyrex will explode if you overheat it. ![]()

I have this exact set. Although I don’t use them for everyday storage, they are absolutely fantastic for potlucks. Fill them up, close them up and throw them in the car and you don’t have to worry about things spilling out. Then when you get there, open them up and set the dishes on the lids. The glass looks nice for presentation too.

I can attest to this. Few years ago I put a small turkey in a purple pyrex baking pan. 9x9, it overheated and split (sounded like oven exploded) into about 3 pieces in the oven.
www.snopes.com has detailed comments on issues and concerns about Pyrex. Worth
reading before you buy.
I have a bunch of these Pyrex containers, as well as a set of GlassLok (GlassLoc? GlassLock?) with the snap-on lids from Costco. Like a previous poster, I prefer glass over plastic for food storage. I’d never re-heat in plastic, and I’m paranoid that even putting nice hot food in plastic to store it will leech a bit of plastic into the food.
Plus, plastic stains.
As for Pyrex v. GlassLokckx: I’ve never had the “less secure looking” lid of a Pyrex come off unintentionally. I don’t juggle them, but I am not a very careful person so my lunch bounces around on the way to work. Even the vibrations of a motorcycle commute have never shaken the lid loose. For me, the snap-on lids of the GlassLockers are overkill.
My microwaving tip: remove the blue cover completely, put a paper towel over the bowl to catch any splatters, and then put the bowl on top of the lid to carry your lunch to your preferred luncheon seat. The bowls get hot.
Well… this beats the Amazon Prime price over at the mother ship of love:

I own this set. I use them a lot. I microwave with the lids slightly askew and they do just fine. I learned to do this when I left a lid tightly closed and the lid imploded. They take up a little more room in the cabinet, but I ended up throwing away all the crapplastic stuff, so it evens out. I believe I shall buy another set.
