How tightly does this thing clamp down on your melon? I have several great sounding headphones but their clamping force renders them uncomfortable to say the least.
ive personally owned two sets of these. first came from woot.com. never had a functional mic. one month after purchase an ear muff busted off on a minimal impact. shipped back to razer, replacement came with the same issue straight out of the box. after about a month or two the replacement’s mic began to work, but at a very low volume.
ive been using the headset for about a year or so with a garbage mic. as the months passed, i noticed some of the small screws came loose and some others were already missing. i do love the surround sound. i do not like razer. razer didnt treat me well during the six months it took to get the replacement. their tech support is NOT up to par.
ive also been in contact with many people, through my online video game playing, who use these same headphones. id estimate of the 7-9 of these headsets ive known, 1-2 worked.
