Anybody know if these have location memory? AKA when it turns on, it picks up at the same place it was before turning off.

These are battery operated? Rechargeable? What is the battery life?

What is this “DVD” thing they speak of?

It says that it comes with a car adapter so I would think it is charged by the lighter port.

Is that dragon warrior?

Reviews over in Walmart. Some not good.

When the car stops and comes back, does the movie start at where it left off? Yes, look at the answer https://www.amazon.com/RCA-DRC62705E24-Double-Mobile-Controller/dp/B0134OX6TA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478873591&sr=8-1&keywords=RCA+DRC62705E24+7"

Why would anybody buy this instead of a Kindle Fire?

Have an upcoming trip to see “the mouse” and travelling 18 hours with two small children. So this was on my list of things to get.

Walmart is selling this same thing for $49 on Black Friday…figured I would save a few bucks this way.

Kindle Fires are at the cheapest $33 each. So if you need two…you’re out $66 dollars, plus simply putting a movie on for the kids is sometimes easier than fighting with a tablet, especially if you don’t have wifi in your car.

As someone that bought two cheap kindle fires for my two boys after they busted their Nexus 7 (2013) almost a week apart - the Kindle Fire is an insanely under powered device - my boys are constantly whining about how slow it is - it is constantly filling up the memory EVEN with a 64GB micro-sd card (no matter how big the SD card - you still more than 16GB of system storage) and the parental controls are pretty annoyingly stupid.

This DVD player seems like a pile of crap too.

comes with the games and controller and can do two DVDs, I would think.

My question is what kind of Audio? is there a headphone jack?
somebody go look it up and report back to me.

I bought one of these last time around. Have only used one display so far and it’s decent. I tried the games and they’re awful as expected.
Bought this because i’m sick of having to “fix the tablet” on long car rides with my 5 year old. Put a kids dvd from the library in it and i’m good to go for the length of it.
12vdc power only. Decent display and sound, does have headphone jack, can play 2 different dvds at same time if you had need.

Bought two pair of these, and waited to review until we had used them a couple of times in the older van. Independent DVD option is great. Movies do resume after losing power. Someone tried the games; they worked, but quickly tired of them.

I actually like these better than the built in DVD player in the Town and Country minivan we have gotten since then. The older kids handle things on their own and keep earphone plugged in so we can still listen to the radio station of our choice up front.
