happy anniversary mr & mrs mick! how many years?

ETA: and mr & mrs dave
AND mr & mrs kathleen!

busy time of year for weddings/anniversaries!

I MADE IT!!!

I was worried about the actual test and not the prep. turns out it was a lot more annoying drinking all that solution (maybe 3.5 out of 4 liters anyway) than it was to get the exam. I got the pinch of the IV, and once the drug kicked in I remember being in the surgical room, but I didn’t feel a thing. nothing. piece of cake!!!

been sleeping most of the day on the couch. had mr. mbspell get me some pizza for lunch. it’s gray and rainy, so a perfect day to rest.

sad to say there were no damn medical center pokemon. sigh.

the only bad news is they found 2 small polyps so I gotta do it again in 5 years instead of 10. but know that I know what to expect I will be much less nervous.

I told nurse I might ask for a different prep kit. she said the doctors like the one I used best.

so glad I have tomorrow also to rest and sleep in. been a long week!

I suppose it’s ok to remove my medical bracelet now…

for TT

I don’t give a damn what kit the Dr.s want. I’m taking the “easiest choice of crappy thing”.
Mine, I mixed lots of sludge-crap-powder in Gatoraid & can now no longer stand the smell of Gatoraid. Also had pills-from-hell, if I remember… That was a bad bad night. shit.

The doctor thing, they stuck something in the IV tube. I was about to say it doesn’t work, but woke up later to them saying they found 1 polup. All that for 1 stinking polup. Shit. I wonder if they just say that so they can keep their jobs… Even if I really had a damn polup, that’s one every 60 years!

ps… Glad you made it…

I loved that show. Also loved Matt in Doctor, Doctor. Short lived series.

I love Matt Frewer, too, and I also really enjoyed Doctor, Doctor. we enjoyed seeing him recently in Orphan Black.

ETA when I tried rewatching the pilot of Max Headroom with my kids it seemed so dated. I had a Max Headroom poster in my dorm room, so maybe I should give it another shot.

Aw, I had a boyfriend in the Navy when I was a junior in high school. Oh, so handsome in that uniform! I think I might have a prom picture with me and him somewhere buried in the basement.

Happy Anniversary to all Greens celebrating!

Wasn’t he in Stephen King’s “The Stand”?

Oh, moles, I just love hearing the moles and oogie story! I am so glad you found each other!

I won’t be called an Eternal Bachelorette, however, I will be an old maid or spinster. Doesn’t sound quite as nice. Oh well, not everyone gets a turn on the playground.

I am afraid some of my co-workers may be planning to jump ship and it makes me nervous. I do not like change. Maybe I need more of a moles approach. I do try to keep my head down, keep my mouth shut, and eyes on my own paper. What else can I do? Hide in the broom closet?

So glad that’s over with! You have to do it AGAIN? SHIT!

I don’t wanna…

yes! he was the Trashcan Man, I think

yeah, but not for 5 more years.

it really was nothing to be scared of. the prep was unpleasant, but not as bad as say a stomach flu, and the test itself I didn’t feel. better than getting colon cancer!

well, I am glad that you and moles are friendly here!

also, you should never say never Chev. my uncle had dated, but never married. he’s in real estate. had a habit of calling on clients after a year, taking them to dinner and asking how they liked their new home, etc. well, in his mid 60’s he took a client out (she was same age and also never married) and they fell in love and are now very happy together. you could still meet someone! well, unless you’re in that broom closet…

ooops… still not friday. I am not allowed alcohol today, so no thirsty thursday… er…

creepy thursday??
