Does anyone have any experience with these?
Here’s my issue. I’m always at a meeting or something and say “I’m going to take notes that I can reference back to at later date.”
And then I get back to my office or home and the notebook sits in a bag or on my desk. And then I need to take notes and I grab another notebook, or the same one, and find the next empty page and take notes. And then it goes back to where ever it goes and I forget about it.
Then when I need it I have to flip through pages in multiple notebooks to find what I wrote at a meeting that I had 6 months ago but I can’t remember what notebook I had or what page it’s on (even if they’re dog-eared on opposite corners so I know where one set of notes ends and another begins).
How well does this work to digitize and make them available on my computer? Are those documents searchable? PDF? Word?
I was gonna get this for the wife, but she told me she’d prefer the ‘fusion’ model. Apparently it has different page types, calendars, lists, etc.
I had the same issue, and got one of these mainly for that use. After I take my notes, I snap a photo and upload to an electronic folder. Then I don’t have to remember the correct notebook. You can name your file by enclosing the filename ##inside double hashtags ##, so by calling out the date and meeting name in the filename, it’s easier to find even if I dump the files all to the rocketbook default file. The file saves as a pdf, but they have been changing the app, and some notes can send as a email, which the app tries to convert from handwriting to text. Doesn’t work well for me, as I have horrible handwriting. But I can decipher my notes from the pdf, and retype if it’s important.
Thank you! This is super helpful. Being able to write the file name on the sheet is awesome. I generally date and title every sheet so I’d just have to put double hashtags around it.
I also have horrible hand writing so PDF would work well for me.
May have to pull the trigger on this.
