If you look this up on Home Depot you’ll see quite a few 1 star ratings- problems priming- would stay clear

On the final checkout page it should go away after validating your address. Is it not?

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

Ok Thank you

Remember, this is a sprayer, NOT for misting, like you would mosquito spray.

If you want a sprayer, the Ryobi backpack and wand is just a little more (I think I paid $59 alarms Home Depot) and you don’t have to carry the weight of the liquid solution in your hands.

Could this be used as a fogger?

Not really much of a fogger. I mean, it fogs more than a normal sprayer but nothing even close to the normal fogger you use in the yard.

Bought The sprayer from woot And I got It And immediately Used pipe tape / The White tape You Use for shower heads To Prevent leaking On all the Sites of attachment for The hose And even The Cap of The Liquid container.

I tried It with Water And all was dandy. But I Just Used It 30 Minutes ago with concrobium mold Control, It leaked from The Front of The actual sprayer Where You can Alternate nozzle heads for choosing Between Low, Medium, High, And Remove, sprayers.

There Is A Small GAP Between The nozzle sprayer cartridge that You can Remove And Cycle And another sprayer Head posterior To It Thats Non-removable.

As I bent Over To PickUp The sprayer after Putting my backpack On w Liquid, The height Difference must have been Too Great And Liquid started Spilling Out The Front sprayer head thats non removable (that isn’t sealable with Water tape)…
it poured maybe 10-15 spoon full of liquid just from puttibg the backpack on.
then when pointing / lifting the sprayer above mg shoulders to aim the sprayer at the ceiling, that caused it to again start dripping from the nozzle.
same happened when i crouched down to aim at the baseboards.

i got a woot 2 step stool (i got it from a previous $1 midnight deal) and climbed that to maybe reduce the difference of height when spraying the ceiling between the backpack ajd the sprayer, id only have to lift it up not as much,

i think any height difference above the backpack more than 6 inches will cause spilling from the front sprayer thats non removable.
That as well as too large of a height difference below the backpack

when it works its wonderful. For $26 I’m impressed.
I knew what i was buying after reading 30-40 reviews on home depot and amazon talking about leakage.
I also have a garden mister thats electric powered via battery and charged w usb A. it has a spray wand and a little portable tank like this.

that was $40 and doesn’t “electrostatically charge” molecules when applying them. that i already broke a sprayer head just by twisting it too hard and i wrapped with water sealing tape around all sites of hose connection as well and the nozzle itself.
Ill use that to spray the baseboards and the ceiling, anything else that requires me to orient the ryobi sprayer towards the ground or to the ceiling which would otherwise cause spilling (not leaking but actually just liquid spilling out from the front not in spray form but liquid form like a steady pencil stream from a water faucet). then just use the ryobi for spraying the walls and everything up to +/- 45* angle to my hip. I can use the 2 step ladder to reach higher spots by physically reaching a higher location, but thats the most this sprayer can do.

The ryobi sprayer can spray On High can Cover A Large Surface Area uniformly at A Pretty Optimal Volume of Liquid. Its hard To See exactly how much You Apply but When Too much Is applied You can Instantly Tell by The Water streaks.

I got The hang of It Very Quickly And Just Kept It On The High Setting. Low Setting makes It So You have To Be 2-4 inches Directly away from The Object for WhatEver Your spraying To Reach It, And The Surface Area that yours Covering Is A Lot Smaller As Well.

I have No clue why’d You Use The Low Setting. Medium Setting Is ok,

It took me maybe 10-15 Minutes To Get The hang of It And Cover all 4 Walls of A 10’x 9’ 4 Wall Room, A Little bit of The Rooms Floor, A decent portion of The ceiling before The Spilling Liquid from The Front nozzle was Too much, Both Doors To The Room (1 closet Room Front And Back, The Room entrance door Just The Side Facing me) Then The Rooms 4ft X 2ft closet (NOT OPTIMIZED for Small/ TIGHT SPACES] Where The Most leakage Occurred And was hard To Turn The sprayer.

theres a single “power” switch that actually only turns off electrostatic charging. its switched on by default im pretty sure but you xan switch it off for some reason if you want.

theres a trigger that controls spraying and nonspray. pull trigger to spray releZe to stop. this is indepenxent of the
“power” switch for electrostatic charging and works even if that swirch mentioned in prevoous paragraph is flipped on or off.

I also bought The ryobi fogger As well* Thats arriving tomorrow.
That 1 Is $39 And comes w A 2amp battery And A Charger. The reviews for that Are also Just As bad On Home Depot And Amazon.

But at $39 Thats A steal because of The 2amp battery And charger. The fogger Just has To Function moderately Well As A fogger (The Review On that dont Seem To Look Good] for This To Be An Exceptional Deal.

I Plan To load It Up with concrobium mold Control And Open an air InTake register And Just Run The fogger While my hvac System Is drawing air. (I’m Wearing a p97 cartridge respidator , And A Chemical Full Body Suit And Safety goggles).
im a little worried that ths fogger is more like a sprayer than an actual fogger from readinf what otuer ppl have said but ill get back to you guys

I’ve figured It Out after Reading The Instruction Manual, More reviews from Home Depot (angry ppl) , and then tinkering with it in the daylight.

The spray nozzle drips when the high sprayer is selected (cant be avoided) and you tilt the sprayer more than 45* down or up. But if you adjust to medium or even better low, it will not leak from the sprayer nozzle anymore.

this lets you get the ceilings and floors.

However, i noticed that the cap to the liquid tank has 2 holes and a flap.
usually if enough liquid hits the flap the weight pushes the flap against the 2 holes through the dap thereby forming a seal.

However, if you accidentally bend over or tilt a little, you might cause just enough liquid (remember you have the liquid-tank on your back / in a packback,) to escape and continuebdripnipg from the flap / liquid tank.

this can be fixed hy just sealing the 2 holes completely. bur ve careful, the holes are there on purpose to release pressure if you’re spraying some really volatile compound / liquid.

otherwise you might create a pressure bomb if you add say bleach and hcl and then created a sealed environment.

For $29, /-> 32/$34 w taxes (free prime shipping though), this is a good deal: 7.3/10.

you however need 1. Plumbers tape 2. 30-45 Minutes sealing all The hose connections And Trying To Figure Out What The shotty Ryobi Instruction Pictures Are trynna Express. 3. CANNOT SPRAY PAINT or VISCOUS liquids. AnyThing More Dense than Water Will clog This machine.

I had No trouble with Priming The sprayer UnLike A bunch of Home Depot reviewers. I dont Know What They Are Doing but I had No Problem at all even after leaving A coagulating Liquid (concorbium mold Control] residues In The sprayer And tank.
