Just in case one was wondering:

26.45 oz = 1.65 lbs = 749 grams

If your not an Android fan then go on over here for a 64gb iPad mini

Time to check out the product page and very good reviews over at bestbuy.com

Here’s the item on Amazon including over 300 reviews.

I want this pretty bad… Love the S Pen, love Samsung’s android iteration. Unfortunately Filemaker Go and the Omni Apps don’t run on anything but iOS. Sad sorry deal breaker.

Here’s hoping Apple doesn’t blow it with the iPad PRO…

I see this at groupon for $479.99…

My bad that’s for a manufacture refurb…

be careful…I buy alot from woot and I to often get items that are supposed to be “new” but are actually refurbished.

[MOD EDIT] Buyer confirmed these are NEW. Additionally, he said he has not heard of any instances of new items arriving as refurbed.

It appears to be the same as the Galaxy Note 10.1 2004 edition with larger screen and battery.

Are those the only differences?

  • sent from my Woot! Galaxy Note 10.1 2004.

Samsung sells it for $50 more.

Actually, that’s just the standard Tab Pro, whereas this model is the Tab Pro Note (includes S-Pen and related software).

OK I have about $500 to spend, which is the better deal, this or the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 for about $60 less ?

Woot, Woot, when are you gonna get us some tablets with 4g?

Gimme dat codpiece

Socially awkward

If you’re getting a Samsung tablet, get a Note model. The S-pen is truly a great asset so you might as well have it. It’s great to draw with and with internet browsers it functions like a mouse (hover over things to make drop-down menus work).

I’m not sure if THIS is a good buy though. The screen is 12", which is HUGE. If you like the idea of one of the biggest tablets on the market, then this IS the one for you. For me though, I found the 10.1" 2014 a better fit to hold. The extra 2" aren’t an extreme difference but it does matter after you hold it for more than 30 minutes.

Honestly the best way to tell is to try one out in person at a Best Buy or similar store and compare there. But if you can’t, think of an iPad then make it bigger. Can you handle that? If so, then the Note Pro is very nice.

So is this the 2014 edition?

This has an updated processor, significantly better screen, and 2.1" of more diagonal screen real estate to wag under the Smith’s noses. Plus the updated S-Pen is twice as sensitive and accurate as the previous version. This is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade over the Note 10.1.

Also, to those unsure of the differece between the Galaxy Note Pro (this device) and the Galaxy Tab Pro, they are the same size, with similar internals and aesthetics (the way they look), but the Tab does not have a Wacom Digitizer (extra sensitive touch features and S-Pen compatibility), S-Pen (fancy stylus that’s actually fancy), or associated majority of Samsung’s productivity Software that the Note comes with (and some of it is actually quite good).
So, is this NEW Galaxy Note Pro better than a Refurb Galaxy Tab Pro for $60 less? Absolutely!

I completely agree with you. I have a 2 year old Note 10 that I love. I wouldn’t mind upgrading to a new model in the next few months, but I am not sure I don’t think I want a larger screen.

Plus, $500 is high. If this was less, I might try it out.
