I’m looking to buy this phone for AT&T.

Based on this:
2G CDMA: CDMA800, USPCS1900
2G GSM: GSM850,GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900
3G CDMA: BC0(800), BC1(1900, BC10(800)
3G UMTS: B1(2100), B2(1900), B5(850)
3G TD-SCDMA: B34(2010), B39(1880)
4G FDD LTE: B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B13(700 c)

AT&T 4G bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 17 1900, 1700 abcde, 700 bc

It appears that I am supported on bands 2, 4 and 5 for 4G. However, that link claims 17 is the major AT&T LTE band, which is not supported by this phone.

I am currently in a metropolitan center (NYC) so am not too worried about the lack of band coverage, but should I be?

It seems to cover what I’ve found for 2G and 3G as well:
2G: 850/1900MHz

3G: 850/1900MHz

4G: Bands 2,4,5,17 (1900,1700,850,700MHZ)

Refurbed by whom? How bad does a “scratch & dent” phone typically look?

From the features:

It can vary unit to unit depending on if it was upgraded. Best to google to see what it shipped with and what the latest upgrade version is. :slight_smile:

Can anyone that has purchased a “scratch and dent” phone from Woot attest to the condition or appearence and functionality of that phone? I’m tempted to purchase as the Woot warranty is longer than some of the other sellers out there. :slight_smile:

Is there anyyy way that you would be able to post pics, of the scratches/dents so that we can see EXACTLYY, how severe they are and also wheree exactlyy they are located… & i noticed that it is a verizon phone; and it says that it is unlocked… but will it work/register on sprint/boost mobile???

Will this work on total wireless or Verizon? Is this a cdma? Is it eligible for a trade in to Samsung itself? Thank you

Don’t buy this phone of you have Verizon.
The phone is listed as compatible with Verizon but the IMEI number is proving otherwise. Verizon confirmed that it is not compatible on their Network so they can’t activate it.
Thanks for sending me a phone that I can’t use and ruining what was supposed to be a gift.

This phone does not work on Verizon network. Just found out the hard way.

Weird, since the first line in the description is “This is a Verizon unlocked phone…”

I am looking for a phone for Verizon. Guess I’ll scratch this off my short list and keep looking.

I have done it once before, it came in pretty bad shape but around that time they didn’t have scratch and dent note on the listing. it is pretty much how lucky you are, i know some people get very light scratched or only in the back of the phone, know from myself had one with big couple deep scratches at front so had to return. just buy it, if it is bad you can always return it freely.

Thanks, I did that before your post and they offered a full refund when we send it back. They also said that they couldn’t send a replacement since there was no more stock. Strange because it’s still listed here to purchase.

I got my phone today. It looks New, not scratched nor dented. I got it activated at Cricket. They charged me $10.00 for the Sim Card, and I bought another $19.99 for an 8gb memory card so I could get all my photos transferred over. It works, but I noticed that after using it for less than 5 min, it was getting warm.
It was fully charged yesterday, Battery was already in the 85% and hadn’t been used. I am watching the battery life, battery may need to be replaced. Not sure, recharging it now. Was just checking to see if any new posts were made.
