Thanx
i just wooted one
the mfg web site was helpful
it is made by salton and they make good stuff from my experience
i think it would be great for those precooked brats and wienie dogs or precooked bacon or sausages to warm while the bread or bun can get soft and warm under the lid - or eggs on the side…mmm getting hungry..
I would see this as a handy warmer
i love my salton omelet maker i got thru last woot off
the mfg page photo show a pot even being heated where the glass lid would sit

What the fark? Does no one use cast iron any longer? Sorry W00t, a Bag of Cannabis is better than this drek!
Agreed. This thing ain’t gonna make you a better fajita chef. Fresh ingredients and common sense cooking make great fajitas. WTF, Woot?!?!? Why couldn’t you save this until next Sunday when the day is only 23 hours long?
That Guy obviously used the wrong spices Honey!
I have owned one of these for several years. ironically, I have never used it for fajitas, but I have used it for a whole lot of other things!
We have a HUGE Super Bowl party every year. I have a large pot that fits exactly in the tortilla space, and I have used it for heating nacho cheese sauce, little smokies (with BBQ sauce) and even for a hot wing dip that I made this year. The griddle part works very nicely as a place to put other goodies (and I make lots of finger foods for this party).
I have found that the heat is more consistent than using a griddle (to keep my appetizers warm), which I had been doing in the past. The size is just right too.
All that said, I enjoy having mine, and someday, just maybe, I will actually use it for making fajitas!
I bought mine at a JC Penney Outlet center and paid about $20. Given the chance, I would do so again!
PS You are all invited to my Super Bowl party next year. It is a blast- we have even been featured on local TV! (St. Louis)

What about at Lunch at work. If you work in an office this is a great way to save money and get better nutrition (Fajita’s are supposed to be healthy if you cook them right) if you pay attention to the ingredients. I flat out refuse to buy fast food anymore. Not only because of the ingredients, but because of the extremeley crappy service. I dare you to ask for your fries crispy at lunch. Heck, anytime for that matter.
Not only will the food be cheaper, more healthy and smell great, but it will attract any women within smelling range. I guarantee it. You take it from there
Their Quesadilla maker is AWESOME, but I dunno about this. I do love fajitas though.
Now that’s funny…I don’t care who you are.
And you’r’e a woot virgin
Thinking about getting this just to see how well it works… sounds interesting. I got the Soy Milk Maker they had a while back for my gf and she loves that… makes a ton of soy/amount of soy beans. She says it tastes better than the store-bought stuff too.
Since they did a good job on that one specialized cooking appliance, maybe I’ll give this one a shot.
thank you. i almost bought one since we are running out of propane on the deck grill.
Ok… I live in Texas… the ONLY place to grill fajitas is on a GRILL…OUTSIDE… using charcoal!!!
Decent w00t though
I’m in for one, fajitas rock!
Great Woot! I’ve been waiting for a White elephant gift (that’s something useless) for my sis’ B-day. We’ve recieved the bread-maker, and pasta-maker (what a nightmare that was), smoothy machine, Cusinart food processor, waffle iron, crepe maker, all as gifts. ALL of them have had a counter-top life of a month or less in my house.
Fifteen years of “time-saving” kitchen gadgets… all gathering dust in my basement. Congrats on the 1% who successfully find a use for this, but I’ll go out on a limb and say you safely add this one to my list above.
After shipping this would cost me 25 total Double Cheeseburger/McChicken’s. Me thinks I’d rather have the sammiches. Darn these thoughts of Yummy, too bad the MiCkey Dees where I live now isn’t open 24/7.
Used it once and returned it…The idea is being able to cook at the table, but when we found out the cooking smokes was filling the entire dinning room we realized that cooking is best left at the kitchen under a range hood. As someone suggested, it may be best for reheating, or if you don’t mind indoor smokes…
I bought one in a woot off - used it twice. It did work well, but this thing is HUGE, doesn’t fit in any cabinets, takes up too much counter space. It’s parked in my garage.
Im so tired right now sitting on watch i wanna gouge my eyes out and cook them on this fajita makin fiend of a machine and watch desperate housewives with 3-d glasses while drinking a miller lite that tastes like dog food…any takers?
i received one of these as a gift used it one and put it back in the box it is only big enough for one person maybe two if they are small eaters. it is really just a gimmick.
I think your better off with a fry pan and nuking the wrappers for a few seconds.
