I’ve bought three pairs of Saucony shoes. Two on Woot and one full priced at a shoe store. All lost parts of their sole within four or five runs. The two I bought on Woot were by far the worst - one lost a large chunk after only two runs.

A real shame as they are very light and comfortable. Sticking with Asics nonetheless.

Not sure what the problems were with your particular shoes but I’ve ran hundreds (thousands?) of miles with Sauconys to the point where they just have little tread and end up turning them into lawn / gardening shoes. Never had a problem with any of mine (maybe a dozen over the last decade). The only time I’ve ever had problems with any shoes were Nike’s and that was because I accidentally spilled gasoline on them. I’ve tried Asics as well and they aren’t bad, just don’t size right for my feet (hence why I’ve stuck with the Sauconys).

Same experience here. I’ve never had a pair of Saucony’s fail on me, beyond the tread wearing down from running lots and lots of miles in them.

I’ve never worn the Omni’s though. I pronote so I stick to the Guides.

Same. I had a pair a while back and the sole just came apart after a month or two.

Is the W after the size for Wide or Womens?

I choose Mens wide, and the only available size is the number with W after it.
