Walmart has it at $29.81. So that listed retail price is a bit rich. Even the company’s own website is selling it at $29.99.
Yeah these are 2 for $35 at sams club, so my basic economics class tells me you can drop the price to $17.50 and still make money!!! Do it for the people woot
Woot, please stop selling these. They kill more beneficial insects than bad ones. NOT good for the environment!
It helps if you provide a link to prove your point. +1 on the price drop suggestion.
24% 1 star ratings? That’s bad enough to keep me away from this.
With those kind of ratings apparently insects aren’t the only ones that should avoid these zappers.
I took a flier on one for the price its worth a go, sounds like most complaints are the battery which I fully expect to be hit or miss at this price point, given its an indoors one I don’t really care about the outdoor bugs but flies and mosquitoes are coming in and I want them zapped so we will see if it works, but will just run it a few hours at night and can probably leave it plugged if the battery is awful.
I get more mosquito bites indoors than outdoors these days I don’t get it
So will this run plugged in like the last comment seemed to say?
Not according to the owner’s manual. There’s a link to the owner’s manual in the description which says to be sure the unit is turned off when using the AC adaptor. It also says that the unit is for outdoor residential use only. The previous comment mentioned using it indoors.
Edit: I was just reading through some of the Q and A section on Amazon about this. According to the manufacturer, it can be used with it plugged in after it has been fully charged the first time.
Yeah that’s weird, the description says " It is designed for both indoor and outdoor use and covers approximately the size of a 25 x 25 sq. ft. deck of patio space," but the manual has no mention of it
I would think indoor concerns would be curious pets and the octenol, I personally am not going to put the octenol bait in there and just see how the light performs and I plan on running it an hour or two at night once all the kids are asleep and then storing in the garage when I go to bed
Found this answer on home depot that pretty much helps settle my usage concerns
A) Thank you for your interest in our product. This is our Indoor and Outdoor bug zapper, so its use indoors in perfectly safe. However, if you decide to use it indoors, do not install the octenol lure because the lure is for outdoor use only. I hope this information is helpful!
