Extremely poor quality cheap Chinese junk. Voice prompts are so loud and crappy they add to the poor quality feel. There is no way to silence or lower the screaming lady every time you plug it in or turn it on. In fact after it’s done it sounds like she is yelling something about sanitizing starting or something. The UV bulbs are on the sides. Tops and bottoms of phones or anything are not getting hit with the UV and not being sterilized. This is why PhoneSoap has lights top and bottom and allows the light to envelop the phone. The aromatherapy is a joke. If they would of put one light on top and one on the bottom, and got rid of the screaming lady, it would be decent. $199 retail is a joke. If this were $15 as it sits I’d say meh. At $50, no way.
That’s really bad if they’re using UVC (the only band of UV light that works).
UVC light doesn’t take that long. Hospitals use it with some guy pushing a cart through a room. They even have robots doing it, too.
Could I also use it to sanitize my spouse’s toothbrush? She’s got a dirty mouth!
Yup this is a rebranded chinese generic that goes for $20ish on other sites.
I would AVOID, because UVC doesnt bounce well, and so you need the bulbs to be on the top and bottom like phonesoap and another brand does.
Yeah - God awful! Luckily, it is so poorly designed, i just removed the anti-slip pads (carefully), removed the screws and unplugged the GIANT internal speaker. Problem solved! (Except this this is in no way worth anywhere near fifty bucks)
100% agree. What a colossal waste of money. It came in an unmarked white box. My instructions said it would take 10 minutes to run the cycle but it’s not taking that long. The lights are on the side which seems kind of pointless for sanitizing the front and back which are the two surfaces that touch stuff more than anything else. there is no brand name marking on the product itself the documentation that came with the product or the box the product came in. I might have paid $20 for this but the fact that I got ripped off for $50 sucks.
Also the woman says starting cycle at the end of the cycle… Junk.

As for some of the other comments – get real. Cross-contamination is unavoidable, so we should never sanitize our phones, keys, eyeglasses? Why bother to wash your hands? Let’s all go to the ATM and lick the keypad.
Seriously, you do the best you can. It’s not about one microbe; it’s about not getting a bad enough viral load to make you sick. So, don’t put Kleenex boxes on your feet, … but don’t give up either. Just do the best that you can in a reasonable kind of way. UV light for my glasses, keys, phone – good stuff, IMO.
I agree - thanks! I just received my product. Agree that it seems cheaply made and has horribly loud/blaring audio prompts, but it’s something I can do that hopefully makes a difference. Woot: can you send one to a lab to have this independently tested please?? I would - yet I am not a scientist and don’t have the equipment.
I’d go lick the ATM keypad if it wasn’t for the brain trust that decided the drive up ATM’s should have Braille keypads. It tickles my tounge.

It’s SO loud and it never says it’s done, it just keeps saying “in progress”.
Use caution with this too. I went to unplug it as I went to bed. I don’t trust these cheapo chinese products. It wasn’t even on and the usb adapter plug was HOT!
I dont think this REMOVES the stuff on ur phone… Anyone have a good solution for cleaning ur phone as a whole not just whipping it down with cleaner…
completely agree with both @angermonkeys and @bigkarl. Absolute piece of junk that is a complete waste of money. don’t allow COVID-19 panic/boredom/cabin fever to impact your judgment when it comes to this product. In this case, nothing is $50 more valuable than something, there’s no placebo affect so this won’t pacify any of your desires to ensure you’re taking necessary preventative measures to disinfect and protect against COVID-19
Confession: I picked one of these up. I am not sure it’s swiss-tek but it seems to function as advertised. Yes, it’s loud and annoying.
I put my phone (galaxy s10+ with flip cover fits in, I run it twice- once with cover on, one without cover on) in it. I put my glasses and ear buds in it. I have also put my keys and pocket knife in it.
Truly have no clue how well it is working. Debating trying to get a culture plate to “test” its effects but in the grand scheme of things, it makes me feel a little better. It goes along with chewing zinc lozenges, wearing a mask and gloves and practicing social distancing.
