This mug is my daily driver. I love it. I use it at my desk, where I work from home, and sip on my coffee while I work in the morning. It’ll keep it warm for hours and I never get that weird taste that you’ll get if you microwave a cup of coffee after it’s gotten cold. Apparently this has to do with some sort of science related to how heating the coffee again changes the coffee itself. I’ve never had that issue with the Ember.
I’m using it for a cup of tea right now actually. A+ would recommend.
I like my Ember Mug as well but in my experience the heating effect lasts for about 90 minutes, as specified in the specs.
I find that the 10oz mug holds temp for 60-90 minutes depending upon the temp I select. Bought a factory refurb to have a spare coaster for the office, and a spare cup for guests.
