Not sure I get this. It’s not showing as a refurb or open-box.
But, for 25% off list (about $125), we’d trade a 7-year manufacturer’s warranty for a 30-day Woot warranty?
Good lord, no thanks. These things are workhorses, and are generally used a lot and for tough jobs. My existing one, purchased about 10-years ago, is a good example. I use it almost daily, and at about 6.9 years, the container froze and the blades would no longer spin. Quick call to vitamix, and there was a brand new container sent out, still under warranty. I was only considering this because I’m starting to hear/see signs that the motor is getting a little long in the tooth so maybe a replacement would be prudent.
My advice: if you’re going to use this blender a lot and for some tough jobs, spend the extra money for the Vitamix warranty (you can even get this same price if you wait/watch for deals). It’s worth it.
1st purchase with woot. About warranty section says “A manufacturer or third-party warranty supersedes a Woot warranty in all cases when a manufacturer or third-party warranty is available.” The Vitamix 7 year is standard so long as I register it, I should be OK. I hope .
These things can be tricky. Amazon may be considered an official/licensed vender but Woot may be a secondary as Amazon sold it to Woot which makes you the third owner since leaving Vitamix.
I’d call the folks at Vitamix directly and be sure. Parts are expensive for these puppies.
