Bought one of these last time they were up on Woot at this same price.

The sound on it is pretty good and the bass was loud enough to where I cannot even use it in my apartment. Neighbors I’ve never even seen before came over to complain about it, but if you’re in a house that’s a good thing!

My remote came non-functional. I emailed Vizio, they called me the next day and sent me a link to attach a picture of my receipt. I had already thrown it out and they allowed me to screen shot my order page on Woot. They shipped one out to me a day later and it came very quickly, and fully functioning. A+ customer service.

I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a starter sound bar at a good price with pretty good bass. Without the sub however the sound is pretty lackluster, and it has no Bluetooth.

Does this set come with an optical cable? I think the new set does, not sure about this refurbished one… Thanks!

Thinking about this as a gift for my father in law. He has a soundboard under his TV now, but complains about the time it takes to turn on. The TV is on before his sound bar completes turning on.

Anyone know how quickly this goes from off to working?

I bought in the last Woot sale; it did come with the optical cable.

I bought the last time this was on Woot. I had the same non-functioning remote problem the previous reviewer discussed. I also had the same “run-around” terrible experience when I contacted Vizio to get a replacement under the 30-day warranty.

First they told me there was no Vizio warranty, only a woot warranty. So I had scan and email the warranty page that came with the soundbar.

Then they made me go through all these ridiculous remote pairing and remote testing procedures, including viewing my remote through my digital camera.

Then they made me take a picture of the back of the sound bar and email that to them along with a copy of the receipt.

Then they sent me the wrong replacement remote.

Finally after about 6-weeks I got a functioning, correct remote out of them.

BTW, the Soundbar now works great, but it’s not functional without the remote because you can’t access many of the sound quality control feature without the remote.

Vizio customer service is atrocious.

Got this last time it came up. Great soundbar. No Bluetooth, but you can grab one of those little XtremeMac Bluetooth adapters and be good to go (or just use a different, dedicated speaker like most folks).

Yes it does, it’s very short and thin. But it comes with one.

got mine today, remote does not work! tried a bunch of different things I found online for about a hour, ended up calling vizio. After about another 30 mins and a dust up on how this did come with a 30 day warranty. I have to send in my proof of purchase and they said somebody will get a hold of me.

Got mine a couple days ago, opened it today, and it worked perfectly.

Hope Visio gets yours working ASAP.

Took about 5-10 min to set up and running. Might take a few more minutes if you run the cables to be hidden, bu we’re moving soon so I did not.

They are sending me a new remote, I had to talk to a couple of different people over 2 days. They both tried to say that anything sold on Woot does not come with a warranty, made me send them proof of purchase, and I got a email yesterday that a new remote has been shipped out.
