Walmart Reviews

Apparently when new this comes with batteries for the remote and various connector cables. Does this refurbished version have those or is it only what is listed under “In the box:”?

How does this compare to the monoprice Home Theater 42 inch Sound Bar with Bluetooth® and Wireless Subwoofer Products no longer Available

I bought the same set new at Costco for the same price a few months back. For the money it’s ok, but don’t expect your home to become a movie theatre.

The controls can be confusing since it uses different light sequences to indicate whether certain features are turned on or off. Good luck remembering which is which. I keep the manual nearby.

It may interest some potential buyers that this is most likely on sale because VIZIO just released their new line of soundbars which include Google Cast, much like their new TV’s.

Just be aware of this when buying this older model.

Not that this is necessarily a bad deal, but I purchased an equivalent (refurb, wireless sub) soundbar by Energy here a few weeks ago for the same price.

I would be absolutely shocked if the sound of the Vizio is anywhere close to the that of the Energy.

Updated! Per the buyer:
RCA to 3.5mm Stereo Audio Cable, Digital Coaxial Cable (RCA), Digital Optical Cable (Toslink)

I wouldn’t be shocked if the Vizio sounded better actually. They’re one of the market leaders for budget sound quality when it comes to Sound Bars.

When I ordered this from Woot a few months agi the only things “in the box” were the speakers. No remotes. No cables. No literature. Just the speakers. Woot offered me a pitiful $10 credit to make it better. I chose 5o return it. Apparently they sent out lots of units in the same condition as mine. Funny that this product keeps coming up with alarming regularity. Id guess they are trying to find suckers to keep the incomplete unit abd the $10 credit

I ordered one of these the last time Woot sold them. I received the soundbar, the subwoofer, all of the cables, the remote, the instructions, and even the batteries for the remote.

The sound quality on the soundbar is quite good…or at least it was for the two weeks it actually worked. After that, couldn’t get it to turn on again. I’m about to ship it off to Woot now for a refund.

(That one was marked Factory Refurbished too…beware bad refurbishing jobs.)

I bought on back in march and it came with cables, remote and batteries.

unfortunately it died about 45 days later. i wold not recommend this.

DITTO. I suggest you pass on these

these are better than stock tv sound, but not that great. the mini sub adds a lot to the sound, but the main soundbar is mediocre. I can’t see the energy not sounding better
