Ok so…for the bluetooth soundbar, could I easily pair and unpair it for use with playing music from my mobile devices or is it not really optimized for that sort of experience
I currently have a Vizio sound bar sub woofer combo. The sub pairs to the sound bar wirelessly. Will this sound bar pairto the sub I have now? Sub model vsb210ws

I switch between bluetooth audio from a laptop and bluetooth audio from phones. I would characterize the process as “pretty simple” and it works pretty well.

My Benjamin finds this quite uncomfortable to sit on.
I have zero experience with this kind of device. If I walk into the room with a previously paired phone in my pocket, will it connect automatically and override someone using it to watch TV?
No, it shouldn’t. I have the previous year’s 42" Vizio soundbar. It has separate inputs, so you would have to switch from your TV input to the Bluetooth input. It won’t automatically switch between inputs.
Can I switch inputs on the soundbar from my Vizio TV remote, or will I have to keep the included remote handy?
To switch input I think you need the original remote, my TV remote only does volume up down and mute
I have a Samsung TV so I can’t answer your question very well. I am able to control the volume but not the input with my both TV and DirectTV remote.
There factory reconditioned product didnt work for me and return was delayed…be carefull. I tried to reach out for help but no support. My device sits without operational remote
If the remote is your only problem, I’ve always been able to pick up spare remotes on ebay for cheap, just search for the model number + remote
First off, thank you Woot. The first one I received was a piece of junk. Every symptom mentioned in the negative reviews on Amazon, I seemed to have on this one unit. Almost like a refurb that they forgot to refurb! I emailed Woot, and it may have even been a day or two past the return window, but they were quick to send a return label and another unit. So far, that second one has been working great.
I bought this for it’s size. A lot smaller than my previous unit, a lot less noticeable. Sound is about what I expected. When I watch action of sci-fi movies, there’s no replacement for a real surround sound system, but this speaker improves on the crappy LCD speakers immensely. Perfect for the news, sports and TV shows.
