I think it’s safe to say none of us will complain if we’re fortunate enough to receive a third bottle of Victory. However, the ports are delicious so it is a shame those are already gone.
Keeping my fingers crossed for some Cabernet Franc and/or Petite Sirah. It would be an honor and a treat to experience Peter’s take on the varietals.
How bad would it be if this stuff had to live in a corner of a closet? Or do I toss the Iron Horse Chard into a refrigerator… Brand new wine fridges are already full of Laura Michaels, Scott Harvey, and Pedroncelli, which have already been badly treated 
Question 2 – drinking windows? These are older vintages. I’m assuming typical “up to 8 (or 12) years” but would it be infanticide to drink the ones that are 5 years old?
Edit: In for one. Guess I’ll have to drink really cold chard. And anticipate drinking a bunch of wine where there’s no saying, “that was good, I look forward to having it again.”

This is my last woot. I don’t have anymore excuses. I mean, telling my wife I bought 3 cases of wine for her in the last week is really pushing it. I got one and may be omitting this deal from her. It’s been great guys. This site really has expanded my world of wine. I know what I like and what I don’t with a bit of terminology and information to help me down the road, and for that thank you.

I literally just discovered wine.woot was shutting down today when looking at the balsamic thread, yes I know, that’s how bad I am at reading the forums. So. Sad. coupled with finding out Ralph’s last day on Kroq was this morning it’s been a terrible day! Good thing this showed up, and I’m sipping a 2012 Wellington Syrah tonight with dinner, means I have to buy it!!
