Westinghouse 37” 1080p HDTV Ready LCD Monitor

you will need a cable box for this to work as a TV. Straight cable feed will not work without a tuner.

CRAP $47 in taxes. taxsucks only saves $5. Was gonna buy, but now dont know. stupid taxes.

i’m, gonna wait a while before buying a hdtv,
i bet tv’s will be really cheap on black friday. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this tv for under 500. With the econmy in the pits, big ticket items will be discounted a lot.
I wouldn’t get a tv without a tuner, i have a DVR and often record stuff on it and watch local over the air tv at the same time. OTA HDTV has the best resolution, too

this is such a good deal. i want to get it, but i still can’t figure out where to ship it to. (i don’t trust my apartment complex in regards to receiving packages).

I’ve had this monitor for about a year and a half and love it. It works amazing as a computer monitor and 1080p ps3 action. It is annoying that this does not have a tuner, but you can pick one up for cheap. Get a converter box coupon and it will tune in OTA. I believe some converter boxes will pass analog through as well, allowing you to tune basic cable. Most older VCR’s have a tuner. Digital cable boxes are tuners. Tivo boxes have a tuner too.

You will need a tuner of some sore to watch cable or over the air television.

send it to me, I’ll hold it for ya…

Wow, this is a toughy…I 'm in the market for a TV anyway, and this seems like quite a bargain.

There are only two on ebay: http://tinyurl.com/3v5jvc
and both are more expensive.

It’s also more on Amazon: http://tinyurl.com/4l6jvk

So it’s obviously a good deal, but my question is quality. Has anyone read any reviews yet? I was actually getting ready to buy a Samsung 32" A450 which has great color and darks. This has my interest peaked, but I don’t really want to sacrifice picture quality for size…

does it come with the stand? the pic looks like it does, but the “in the box” section doesn’t mention it…

I have a 42 Inch 1080P Westinghouse and a 24 Inch Widescreen LCD HDTV ready monitor and they both are aresome. My 360 looks great on the 24 Inch and Im sure it will look great on the 37 inch as well. Lots of hook ups on both TV’s.

For those of us, not in the know, could someone explain whether this will work with standard cable tv? Does HD have special connections? Will the standard TV picture look ok?

Thanks in advance!

hmmm… need the money for other things. this looks nice though!!!
i’d get it if i were rich, but i’m not, so i obviously can’t get it. :-o

any LCD tv is better than any plasma…

just click the picture of the tv, and if you see the slot for your cable wire, it should work!

not all. i don’t like the blurry/fuzzy screen that some of these tvs have. although both could have it i guess

Love the image! I Just saw Vertigo this weekend!

go to best buy or some where like that, and they might be able to hook u up with something so that you can plug both into the same slot

what would be the set up if I want to hook it up to cable box and computer? would I have to keep switching the connection between puter and cable box ?

Just showed this to my friend with a 35" 720p resolution and he said to go for it. So I bought one and selling off my 22" LCD monitor and some other random crap on ebay so I can upgrade to a better one. Can’t wait for it to come in!

Since this tv has no tuner, what’s the remote for?

How much does a refurbished one of these sell for?
