Mr. Webster online entry says beastie " a real or imaginary animal or creature." I am going with a beastie boy is the male of the mythical jackalope or a very real snipe.
It is about snipe season, and I will be gearing up here on Woot.

What’s a Beastie Boy? Is it a new XFL franchise that no one will care about? Is it a new Krispy Kreme’s giant sized donut? “Yes, I’d like two vanilla filled Beastie Boys and a large coffee to go.”
And why aren’t they Beastie Men? And what makes them so “Beastie?’ Lots of hair on their chest? They don’t bathe? They take all the virginal women to their lairs to make them wash dishes and cook decent food?
And why are they all boys? Why aren’t their any Beastie Girls? Like Princess Fiona from Shrek? Or what about Beastie STRONG FEMALE CHARACTERS? Who can do no wrong, everything right, and are better and stronger and faster because they just can!

The In Sound From the Way Out was awesome! They had great instrumentals. Intergalactic tour was amazing!!
I love that my kids like the Beastie Boys too…except I turn down the inappropriate parts.
