Update: still no email (did get another Prime Appreciaton Days one) - but a new code appeared!

A 1-month code, attatched to an order that worked perfectly fine.

Also, the new code gives this:

" Incorrect region

You are trying to purchase from an incorrect region. You’ll need to update your settings to purchase from the correct region."

Make sure you reach out to customer service.

Looks like I don’t need to. Woot has refunded the purchase, just gotta wait for it to post to the account and then I can go to a more-reputable reseller for the three-month pass.

Rather a shame, as I and a friend have both bought Woot keys in the past with no issues…

WARNING - don’t buy these. We spent over $400 getting a year’s worth for each of our four accounts. 12 of 14 were already redeemed when we tried to enter them. Based on WOOT refusing to refund once the email with the validation codes are sent, we’re out almost $400. If they continue to refuse to send us new codes / refund the purchase price, I will no longer shop with them for anything - which is a shame because we’ve been loyal customers since before Woot was such a huge site.

Its always fun anytime Woot sells a digital good. You can always assume some BS is attached to it to make you love woot that much more.

Apparently cant get codes - given a refund instead. I for one enjoy wasting my time with Woot just to break even minus all my time.

Lessons learned for many I am sure, zero by woot. They will do this again and again and again.

Same story here. Bought three codes - used one right away and saved the other two. Went to go use them both and said they were purchased in the wrong region. Contacted CS and was given a $10 off coupon to use next time (very kind), but basically told I’m SOL otherwise.

For those who did get a refund, did you continue to respond to the initial e-mail? Feels like Woot surely must be noticing a trend here and would be great if they could hold the vendor/supplier accountable.

Haven’t heard back from woot in 4 days since I provided them proof that their additional codes didn’t work. Guess that’s that. Good luck to the rest :clown_face: tier customer service taken on.

Back to canned responses from unsigned customer service reps. :rofl:

Having the same region issue. I tried reaching out to customer service and got no response. Just tried again. Did people have to try multiple times to get any kind of info?

Hi there, customer service will reply to the email listed on your Woot account so you’ll want to check there if it’s different from your Amazon account. Response time is typically 24-48 hours and you’ll want to check your spam & junk folders.

Return labels will come directly from UPS, not Woot.

You may want to add info@woot.com to your contacts in your email program.

My codes are not valid in the US and WOOT knows and doesn’t care. No refunds and they can’t make it right, be careful of these. This feels like one of those old fake site scams where they send you codes that are bad and ignore you after.
