You used the Twitch write-up suggestions!
Ah poop. Here we go again.
Just doing a Google search shows deals all over the web better than this one !!
If you remotely have the time, could you pop a link up to a better deal on this scooter? I searched (on my phone), but could not find a better price. Thanks dude!
Aaw hell nah. Ill stick with this.
I also don’t recommend jousting on these.
Or any electric scooter.
Or any non electric scooter.
Scooter jousting is not a safe thing to do.
Nope nope nope.
Also I lost at it. So I’m bitter.
Thanks for the heads up
I Caved. Guess y’all yuppies got to me. Let’s see what the noise all about.
Careful; I was about to place the order when I saw this:
Woot might be trying to offload affected stock
[MOD: Our units are not part of the recall.]
Got one last time, not part of the recall, FWIW. Seems well-made. I started riding, building, and hopping up electric scooters 15-20 years ago, when they all used lead-acid batteries and weighed a ton. I have lifting and mobility issues and this thing is wonderfully light. Not much fun to ride, though - there’s a center detent on the front end, it feels wobbly (not enough trail in the forks), and doesn’t carve corners real well. I think front wheel drive is a real drawback. It’s just not maneuverable in tight spaces, partly because you can’t control the speed at a walking pace. Won’t start from a dead stop - you have to kick. Overall - useful, not fun, and no wonder people ride crazy on sidewalks, you can’t control it at very low speed.
It states in the description that the units are not a part of that recall. So, you can reasonably be sure that you should not get a recalled unit.
Don’t think you will find a [legit] deal on any reputable site for less than this. $399 is the lowest they’ve been on Amazon and thats down from $499 few months ago. So $329 is a great deal for these. I own two.
Never heard of this site lol - Avoid.
Rec’d for ages 16-50. Darn, I’m not recommended. I must be getting old. Still beat my nephew playing Ultimate and he’s on the Cornell U team. Oh well I’m ready for the nursing home apparently.
These look very similar to the scooters that we just started seeing in Chicago a few months (which are also in every other big city it seems). I find them pretty fun, but the only thing I’d warn about is that they’re not great for taller people. If you’re over six feet, you have a higher center of gravity and they feel a little squirrely. However, I’ve seen younger and shorter people cruise around town on these with confidence.
