Now the Alta is included? That’s one of their new products and it’s already in this group? Given how poorly engineered the rest of their products are, that shouldn’t really be a surprise. FitBits are poorly made and don’t hold up well. Do not purchase a FitBit whether it is new or refurb. Spend the extra money and go with another brand. If you insist on getting a FitBit, get a brand new one with a year-long warranty. You’ll need it.
Google “FitBit Charge HR life expectancy”. Average life is about 5 months. I went through 3 of them in 1 year. First a bubble forms on the top of the band, then the band simply cracks and falls apart. FitBit honors their one year warranty, but after that, you’re on your own. Check the warranty of the refurb before purchasing.
I bought a new Surge. Fitbit easily replaced it the first time when the screen went blank after about 8 months. The replacement lasted about the same amount of time but the warranty was up. No replacement. This is their flagship model. No quality here.
Woot, please change the main pic on this listing. I get the daily email and for the past two weeks it keeps showing me you VAST selection of fitbits you have for sale but everytime I click on it it’s the same thing, only the charge and flex. Please switch to a pic that shows what is actually for sale.
Ok…I have ordered two, one was not working properly when it arrived. I sent it back and they sent me another one with THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM!! Seems they are trying to sell factory rejects and I just got lucky with one. Thinking of returning all of them…
Agreed. I think that these are factory rejects.
Yeah, I bought one of these from Woot! two months ago, and it went dead and couldn’t be recharged. Fortunately there is a 90 day warranty; I sent it in and am awaiting a replacement. I got a brand new one about a year ago and the band separated after a year.
I ordered a Charge refurb here before Christmas. The battery lasts about half a day (it should last a week). I previously had a brand new Charge which lasted a few months before the band started deteriorating. They honor the warranty for one year from date of original purchase. There’s no reason to believe a Fitbit purchase will last more than one year, and you’ll probably go through two replacements in that time.
Got my Charge HR two days ago. Battery lasts about 6 hours, so it’s worthless. It’s covered by the refurbisher’s warranty, but it’s disappointing that I have to pay to ship it to them, despite the fact that Woot sent me the bum product. Would avoid purchasing, if I were you.
Beware. I got one, it was broken, a useless piece of plastic. Sent it back, still waiting for my reimbursement.
received my flex in record time. unfortunately, doa. unable to connect, sync or be recognized, but phone, iPhone or two different pcs with or without the dongle.
I’m very sorry. It has a 60 day replacement warranty.
Wish I had read these comments. Received a bum unit as well. DOA. Will not sync. Will not connect using blue tooth or dongle to any of my devices.
Attempting to do a replacement, but have not heard back from product warrant for 5 days. DO NOT BUY THESE REFURB UNITS. Spend the extra and buy new.
… replacement does you no good if they don’t get back to you in a timely manner for RMA.
I’m really sorry about that. If you haven’t already, please reach out to our Customer Service for assistance. They should be able to help.
